Played here Monday and this is a very tough rolling course with some wonderful views. I really enjoyed the pristine fairways and greens. Service was exceptional as were the facilities. Only gripe were the large stones in the sand traps that seemed out of character for the course. But I should have stayed out of the traps, and then I wouldn't have to worry about the stones! This is a course worth playing again.

Great Course. I played it almost weekly during the season for at least three years - less so now as I joined a local club. Every hole is interesting and presents a different challenge. From the white tees it is not too tough. From the blues it’s a solid challenge but not out of reach and more importantly still fun for those with a 90 to 100 average. You must play smart if you are a 16 to 22 handicap. Back tees are a real challenge; you must be a low handicapper. Holes 3, 6, 9, 12, 14, 16,17 and 18 are particular nice.

The course was near perfect. Greens were smooth and have filled in from the spring aeration. Fairways were great and the rough was punishing. They were working on a couple of bunkers, but had marked them as ground under repair, which was nice. This might be my favorite course in the area.

Absolutely fantastic course and ties Stonewall for my favorite course in the area. I can't say enough great things about Worthington Manor. The course was in great shape, beautiful, and the layout is really tremendous. Be ready for a challenge, however.

Conditions great except greens. Someone needs to go out nightly and fix the massive ball marks on every green. It is frustrating having to repair at least five in your line just to try your own putt on every one. My only other comment, if you are a big driver play the tips. The next-to-back tees will not be as much fun as there are a lot of holes you would have to hit 3W off tee, especially on back 9. Not my favorite course, but you can do worse. Very crowded Sunday though.

Close to being the perfect golf course! Great conditions - fairways, tees, greens. The layout is interesting and challenging. Be sure to play the right set of tees - playing tees longer that your skills can support will make the course extremely difficult, while playing the right length makes scoring possible.Staff is friendly Greens fees are reasonable, especially for frequent players who use the card that gets a free round after 4 paid rounds.

Positives, Great design, very good fairway conditions and excellent green condition. Frequent player program with 1 free weekend round after 4 paid rounds. Negatives, my round took almost 5 1/2 hours at 7:30 AM and there was no ranger getting on 1 very slow group that held up the entire course.

Excellent course. One of the better public courses in the MD/N-VA area. Still a good value. The design is excellent, and the course is in great shape. The first 3 holes make for a challenging start, but the course gets easier after that. Staff is friendly. Clubhouse is very nice. Pace of play is better than average. Tee times are not hard to get by calling the course. There's a "frequent player" card that gets you a free round (even on weekends!) after 10 or so paid rounds.

A great course. I highly recommend playing here. Staff is very friendly, tee boxes, fairways and greens all in great shape. Course is very challenging, but rewards good shots.

Amazing design with amazingly fast greens. Tee boxes were "OK." Fairways were exceptional, smooth bent grass. Rough was rough, which is excellent. Greens were amazingly fast, but fair. The only problem: the bunkers. No sand, just rocks. There's even a local rule allowing you to remove rocks from traps. All in all, this would be an eagle course, and possibly one of the best in the state of Maryland, if they added sand to their bunkers. As is, great course. But the price at $89 hurts!

The course design is nice and a bit cheaper than the other high end courses in the area with a good twilight rate. The conditions are always good. On the other hand, these are some of the hardest greens anywhere in the Mid-Atlantic. Staying below the pin is an understatement and depending on pin position don't expect to get anything close.

Played the course yesterday and overall the course was in good shape. The greens were a bit sandy from recent aeration but didn't effect putts that much. As always these are some of the hardest greens of any course in the area, so be prepared for some difficult putts. Only complaint were the tees a few were a bit chewed up but they seemed to be working on them. Customer service was average and they have one of the better ranges and practice areas.

While other courses are recovering from the drought this one is in great shape. The conditions are fantastic and the layout is wonderful. A bonus is the mountain scenery from all over the course. Play it.

This course is my top pick in Maryland. The green fee over the weekends and the twilight rates are really reasonable. Hole number 17 is a par 3 with a considerable elevation change and surrounded by hazard. Every hole is unique and challenging. The greens are fast and true. The fairways are in great condition.

Great course but don't expect pristine conditions. This course gets lots of play but conditions are great for the amount of golfers. Pace of play is remarkable. Great design worthy of hosting US Open qualifiers. A must play

This may be the best public course (at a reasonable rate) in MD. Every shot makes you think and you will pay for most mistakes. Greens and course were in excellent condition. Every hole had different challenges for each tee box. Loved the layout. No "forced" or trick shots required.

Played April 6th Conditions just OK. Greens still had punch marks with lots of sand. Could be fine in a week or two. Fairways and rough really need to grow in, lots of bare spots. Nice layout, Customer Service was very good.

Course was in good condition yesterday, except for some tees that were bare in areas. I like the layout but unless your a 10 or under handicap and even if you are a good golfer expect to shoot above your average. The course is a real challange on the greens. Some are even what most would deep unfair, because getting up and down if your on the wrong side of the green is near impossible. If you think your game is good, go to Worthington Manor to really find out.
