I played the Yorktown course a week before Memorial Day. The Yorktown course was in great shape. The real issue is that there was no yardage book or course layout available which meant you were guessing distances unless you had a GPS. I thought number 11 a drivable par 4 was a great touch. Please mark the course or get some yardage books or put a GPS on the carts!

I played a few weeks ago, and expect for the 8th green I found it to be in fine shape. It's a challenging and interesting course with a few wacky par three's,. There seems to be way too many bunkers, but I was pretty pleased with the course.

This Yorktown course should not be open for play. I had to skip a hole because sod was being laid. The eighth green was almost void of grass and yardage markings was nonexistent. The greens were just aerated, but they neglected to disclose this prior to paying my greens fees.

A nice course and good condition, but just doesn't measure up to the outstanding courses growing up in the area. Some fun holes, but nothing really stands out. Three and a half stars would be more accurate, and would probably get four if there weren't so many other options.

Not the prettiest course but a fun one to play. Very fair to the average golfer.
