Went to West Winds after finding a very good online deal. Even though I only paid $25 with a cart on a weekend, I feel like I got ripped off. This place is a mess. Horrible customer service. More temporary tees than regular tees. There was 1 tee box literally in sand/gravel. Fairways are almost barren. If you want to play golf course on a construction site, this is the place for you. Even assuming they can get the place back in respectable shape, it will take at least 1 year.

Conditions vary by season but an extremely challenging 18 holes. Bring all your clubs because you will need them. Westwinds Staff is very customer friendly and very responsive. Westwinds is now Private so you will need to play with a member. One of the most competitive "Mens Group" in the State of Maryland.

I played this course yesterday and it's in the best condition I've seen in recent years. The staff was nice and it looks like the new management is making some headway. The layout is a bit to close to the community on some holes for my game. It seems the overall layout has a few holes that seem placed around the houses, not my favorite course but in good condition.

Conditions often questionable. Did an architect really design this? Over the years, they have tried to correct some major design flaws, but it still has some problems. Without discounts, I wouldn't make the trip.

Tees are mud/dirt...fairways require overseeding and care...ruff is crab grass...greens not bad but still could use some work...even the cart paths need repair.

The T-boxes were very rough, some bare spots in the fairways, but it was a challange to play. The layout was difficult to navigate the first time, but I'm looking forward to playing it again. The folks at the club house were great. Alex and Greg gave a warm refreshing welcome.

Course wa in great condition, primary rough around the greens were a little long. Greens were also in very nice shape. Course could use hole maps, this was our first time playing and having a map would have helped. We played on Sunday and had no problems as course was almost empty at 12 noon. Great value as it only cost us $30 with the players pass. Will play this course again soon!!

Great greens, running really smooth. Fairways where very nice. Tee boxes could use a little work. Friendly staff and a great price for a very nice layout.
