I played in 1995 and 2005. In 95, the course was spectacular. In 2005, it seemed they had let this one go. Play the Upper and the Old unless everyone says it's in good shape.

Paying $125 per round on the weekend is a little much for this beautifully constructed Robert Trent Jones designed course. The views from the tees boxes are breathtaking and the greens are well maintained throughout the course. I would recommned playing this course through the resort's golf package deals as opposed to a day trip out to Hot Springs. They offer many deals for a round of golf and stay at the resort. Overall one of VA finest courses but expensive.
