All things I wrote two years ago still true. This course is still commanding top dollar in spite of the economic woes affecting the Homestead. You have to be in the right mindset to play this, with the thick rough. Greens a little softer this year. Course getting more play since they've temporarily closed the Lower Cascades course, so pace was a little bit of a challenge on a recent weekend.

This is simply one of the best courses anywhere, and probably the best in the state. A magnificent experience, but very difficult. Hilly, thick nasty rough, and greens with extremely subtle breaks that are very often hard to read. Every hole is memorable, but the par-3 11th and par-4 12th playing alongside a creek are particularly special. The par 5 16th, with a pond guarding the green is also great. I haven't had a problem with the staff, and the course is usually uncrowded. Expensive, though.

The course its self was great. The staff left a lot to be desired. When our team arrived we were pointed to the carts to get our own and unload our bags. We were told water is at the first hole and that was the end of the help from the staff. When we finished we loaded our bags and left. We thought the staff could be a little more friendly

Slammin' Sammy's turf. Excellent shape-always. There are holes on this course that make you think you're upside down.
