This golf course is so good I'm at a loss for words. We take advantage of the play all day rate. Great Bermuda fairways with bent grass greens. Excellent hole designs and routing. Two of the best par 3s around and they just happen to be back to back. A great test of golf and a lot of fun to play. Views of the Potomac and holes along the marshes. Awesome.

One of my favorite designs with a few different water and hardwood pine trees. Always reminds me Myrtle Beach courses for some reason. Played recently and it was good shape. I highly recommend a playing here.

Played Sunday and this scenic course has an excellent layout with many blind shots. Having a handheld GPS or course map really helps for people who's never played here before. Hole #6 is really tough. Good natural grass range. Course conditions weren't the greatest however. Greens were shaggy and there were quite a few areas that were either burnt out or just left uncared for. Service was excellent. I gave this course a birdie rating only because of the beauty and layout; play it in the Spring.

This is my favorite golf course in the Washington DC area. It is completely worth the drive from VA. There is a huge bald eagle's nest over the 7th hole must be the size of a VW. Also the shots of the Potomac are quick reminder of how far away from the city you really are. I went on a Saturday morning as was joined on the tee box by two turtles, and a deer. This place is remote, swampy and pure and simple the best golf in the area.

Course may be suffering from drought conditions, greens in good shapes but slow, fairways decent but the rough and the tee boxes remind me of Trotters Glen. Tee boxes were 50% dirt and the rough was dirt or crab grass, several people said they were disappointed because they've played Swan Point in the Past and said they were very disappointed with current conditions.$80 for a course that far from DC with the current conditions is too much.

Extremely well designed course and beautiful setting, however, after fun layout, last hole is what you would expect for an executive course. Poor ending. Greens hold and putt true. Somewhat odd rough - spare, with clumps of what appears to be weeds. Also, the traps, which are designed well, are not kept up. Still, a great design that reminded me of and compared favorably with Harbour Town.

The best course in Maryland. Out away from the city. The layout is challenging but rewarding, well maintained and just a joy to play. I would recommend to any type of golfer.

Great layout and course only issue is out in the middle of no where. But decent rates and great replay rates make it one of my favorites. It makes you feel like you have really gotten away but haven't traveled that far. Love the marsh mix of holes especially the decptive Par 4, I think its number 10 or 11. The staff was nice and the clubhouse is prety big. A good place to take your foursome away and have some fun.
