Played last weekend. Interesting design with copies of famous holes. Fairway & tee conditions were average, given the weather. The only negative aspects were a 6 hour round. Cart path only. Practice range off of mats. New carts with NO GPS and poorly marked distances. Lots of rules recited by grumpy cart guys before the round.Greens in poor condition and one green was closed. Al in all, it was not worth the trip or the money.

Conditions are top notch; firm and fast with just enough rough to keep you honest and your ball in the fairway. Twilight special during the week is a great deal.

Greens are fast, difficult but not unfair. Course is in great shape. Don't worry about the dissertation the starter gives about slow play. Our pace was good and I never saw a marshal on the course anyway. The fairways are top notch and the rough penalizes but doesn't punish your brutally. Many tees to choose from, but choose the right ones or you could be in for a long day. The staff was terrific and they often run specials on their website.

I played yesterday and the course was in excellent condition. Fairways were nice & the greens rolled smooth. It was a 4 hour 45 min round; with the 2nd 9 taking a lot longer than the first 9 for some reason. It is a nice layout with a lot of bunkers & water in play. As for the holes being "replicas" of major holes, I guess they are close but I'm not sure trees, undulations on greens are accurate. I played with a discount for $39 so it was a great course for the value!

Have played this course a few times and it is just a bit "dull" for me. I don't think the "renditions" of the major championship holes accurately imitate the real holes. I realize you can't capture everything, but I guess all I can say is "nice try". Course could still use some extra $ put into it. Even though $80-$90 is the norm for the area for higher end courses, I would just rather go to one of the neighboring courses for that price. Rate is bogey for lack of realism and conditioning.

I've played this course for the last three years. It's in the best shape ever! It also use to take forever to play. I played on a Friday and it took just a little over four hours.

Played yesterday the conditions were great from tee to green. I have specifically avoided this course over the past two yrs because conditions were not up to par with the rates being charged. Obviously that has now changed. The greens rolled true and quick. Only complaints was the lack of a cart girl on a hot day and the GPS system on the cart. On at least 5 holes, it did not give us a distance reading. Luckily I have a handheld device which I used instead because there's not many markers out there.

Based on previous ratings I'd say the course is making a turn-around as the conditions on 5/17/07 were excellent. The tees, fairways, rough and greens were all in excellent condition. The only 'thin' places that I saw were in some of the waste and distant rough areas. The local rough along the fairways and around the greens was excellent. The greens were smooth, fast and true not to mention extremely difficult. This was my first visit to Renditions and it turned out to be great.

It was fun playing the famous holes, but the course conditions made the overall experience a disappointment. I also feel that the routing isn't very good since you never get a rhythm going like at other courses. You just seem to go from one replica hole to the next even with their Amen Corner. I've played it twice and that may be it for awhile.

This course is in absolutely pathetic shape right now compared to the other top tier courses in the area. They should charge winter rates. Article was kind in saying tee boxes "should" be alternated, it's clear that here they hardly ever are. Have to wonder if their maintenance staff quit entirely. Played here in June and the tourney group voted to take it off the rotation. Tried it again, but its gotten no better. Terrible shape, go elsewhere. Who cares how nice the amenities are given this?

I cannot help but love this course. I am told that the holes don't play quite like the originals, but I'm not sure it matters. What you are left with is 18 totally memorable holes which demand strategic thinking and good execution. If you like golf history and strong design, it is a perfect place to play. My only gripe is the Sawgrass hole, which I had wished they replaced with a par 3 from Baltusrol. But the British Open holes (Lytham, Carnoustie and Birkdale) and the Oakmont hole shine.

I came away rather disappointed in this course. Where I'd hoped and expected to feel like I was playing at famous holes all day long, the atmosphere simply wasn't there. While the hole layouts are probably accurate, there's no water where water needs to be (for instance, in the creek at the final hole of Amen Corner), there are no trees where there are trees at the real courses, and the rough on many holes is clearly just wasteland area. In short, the concept is a great one, but the course doesn't do it justice.

I didn't think the course was in very good shape for this time of the year. Way over priced. There were too many kids and not enough adults working there. Other much cheaper courses I've played this year are in a lot better shape.

Layout is fun, with Amen corner, the famous TPC Sawgrass island green and some British Open holes. But, tee boxes are torn up with little grass and greens are horrific. Do not think this gives you idea what pros face; they would walk off this course. Why are the greens so bad? Over-hyped and over-priced. Not worth the upscale cost.

Fun course if weekdays cost 35 to 45. Up-scale wantabee, but not there. Enjoy playing it with discounts, but would not pay full-ticket.

Condition was pretty bad due to lack of rain; the greens were unbelievably fast, it was like putting on a hardwood floor. You couldn’t stop any approach shots and it just rolled off the green. Most of the holes played like British Open, not much rough and a lot of bump and run or putting. It was fun to taste what the pros play but I don’t even think the green plays this fast; mostly dried up fairways and greens. Overall, I liked the layout but the condition needs alot of improvement.

I really loved this course, it gave me and the people I played with a chance to feel what it would be like to play on the holes from the Masters, which I thought the Augusta holes were the best! I loved the TPC Island Green! I love playing this course, I could play it over and over again!

Really great course, staff was first class and conditions were excellent. Play was a little slow but overall worth the price and would play again.

Top notch clubhouse and staff. The Knickers were a nice touch from the cart guys. Each cart was labeled with your group, so you knew exactly where to go. Great system for keeping groups moving. Course itself was fun. Greens were slower then what I would expect from these 18 holes on the real tracks, but it was interesting to tee it up at Amen Corner, even though the greens were nothing like you will find at Augusta National. Course conditions overall were very good. I would play again.

Good course with a friendly staff and great emenities. For the person that shoots over 110, stay away. This course has some great challenging holes and when I played was in pretty good shape. Taking holes from different courses is a clever idea and adds a little excitement into the game, especially the Augusta National Holes. Renditions is certainly worth a visit if you haven't played it yet.

A great concept, the best holes from the most storied courses. I like a place that rewards a golfer for strategic shotmaking, not just driver/58 degree wedge on every hole, regardless if the ideas for the layouts of those holes came from other places. The putting surfaces are especially difficult, and, for a hacker, they border on pure evil. Pricy, but very impressive. Once or twice a year this place will either quell or reignite all of those PGA aspirations that you may harbor deep inside.

Course in poor shape generally.Play was very slow. Good concept but they need more time inbetween tee times. The course is 18 famous but very difficult golf holes for average golfer. Wait for coupons or reduced rates. Twilight is jam packed cause of price. Not worth premium price, yet.

A beautiful concept. A great exection. A course in poor repair. That sums up our outing. The
course is visually enticing and we were looking forward to playing. One of our foursome
played there right after the course opened, and commented that he was disappointed then by
the condition of the course, but we all figured it would have matured by now.
Nope. Most of the greens were like many of the local greens during the worst of the drought -
hard, bumpy, and ragged. Fairways were about the sam

If your a fan of course design and famous courses you have to play this course. The TPC ast Sawgrass Par 3 is worth the trip alone but remember to bring a couple of extra sleeves of balls if your a hacker like myself. Course is a bit on the expensive side but for a course to play once a year it is a good choice.

Very nice set up but still dealing with some drainage problems on many holes and bunkers. Nice slick greens, but a little pricey.
