I played it once with aerated greens. Despite this, the greens rolled very well. I liked this course a great deal. While there are two holes that are just not well laid out well; one of them being the final par 5, the other being the first par 5, the course is fair. There are short and long par 4s causing players to use multiple clubs off the tee. The fairways, rough, greens and bunkers were all in good shape. The price of $35 made this a gem I hadn't known about, but will definitely play again.

I visited this course after many years. It was in reasonable shape, is located centrally in Montgomery County and is affordable. Large greens and true rolls. The layout takes some getting used to and plays a lot longer than the yardage due to shaggy fairways and the fact that most drives or approach shots are uphill. It's hard to believe that 14 holes have some uphill element. If you know what you're in for, a fun course to play.

Decent Municipal that is a bit tougher than your average muni. A few blind shots and lots of targets you must hit. A couple of holes are quirky but all in all a fun round. Usually a very busy track so don't expect a 4 hour round on the weekend but it's pretty close in, in Montgomery County. Price is decent. The greens were slightly bumpy and a bit slower during my round.

The greens are terrible ---This was one of the really good public golf courses in the area, but I am sorry to say that is is really in bad shape --To spend $50 at Redgate make no sense when there are some very good public tracks in the areas --It kills me to say that --I am looking for a new home --

If I would have to rate it last year I would have given it a par rating. But this year it is just blowing me away! The greens are in perfect shape, the fairways are excellent, and even the roughest rough seems to have been brought under the stewardship of the grounds keeper. The place is just fantastic. The terrain is a blast and most of the fairways forgiving for those less experienced. My favorite hole, by far is the 11th. In the spring and fall, that hole can take your breath away.In terms of play/price I don't think this course can be beat.

Decent course but hilly. Not a very extreme challange but in decent shape. Slow play is expected on the weekend.

This course has the hottest beverage cart girl I have ever seen. A true must see.
