Played in a tourney Aug. 1st, tee time 9:00 am. Played the Ridge and Meadows courses, ridge played like a typical course for the area, short but tight fairways. The meadows course played like a links, pretty wide open. Rough wasn't bad at all, pretty short and easy to get out of but the uncut areas are impossible to get out of or find your ball. Nice lay out and no goofy holes. From tee to green course is in good shape. Staff friendly, nice club house. Would play again but look for coupons.

Solid golf course. Played Hollow and Meadows and found it in reasonable condition, reasonable difficulty. Rough was way up on the day we played, which made play more difficult. Pretty good setting, secluded. Course is not particularly memorable.

Potomac Ridge was a disappointment. For an upper tier course, one step up from Munis, the conditions here leave a lot to be desired. The tee boxes were terrible, un-repaired divots for what appears to be days, and terrible greens. The un-repaired pitch marks make for a feeling like you got ripped off. Not to mention no water coolers on a 95 degree day on one of their courses. This may have been an oversight probably as the other nine had them coolers. Nice staff though.

Decent track, conditions are always pretty good. The layout however is pretty tight in areas and requires the ability to hit specific targets. No bombers track and you'll need to bring a few extra balls. The price is a bit expensive but I play it a couple of times a year when I think I'm playing well.

Played last Saturday, course layout was pretty good. Bunkers were lousy, either needed sand or had sand just placed in them. Tee boxes were a little worn for this early in the season. Greens were in great shape and playing reeaally fast. Staff service was great but I didnt think it was worth $71.00 to play this course.

The hollow and meadows nines are nice. Well maintained, smart designs. The ridge nine or new nine should have Mickey Mouse and a windmill. Hit hooks off of slFce lies to hit greens and slices off of hook lies all day. frankly one of the worst designs I have ever played. It could have championship conditioning and ridge still wouldn't be worth a wooden nickle to play.

Excellent Golf course. I recommend visting all three course by Atlantic Golf Course Owners, which are South River in Edgwater, MD, Queenstown Harbor in Queenstown, MD and of course this one Potomac Ridge.

Hey Amigos,

You must be hitting the tequila early in regards to your rating for Potomac Ridge.

I played in a tournament in the middle of April and found less than desirable conditions in every aspect of the course. Tees, Fairways, and greens were not up to the rating you gave it.

A great set of three nines. The best of the three being the Hallow nine. The Meadows nine is more tree lined while the Ridge nine is still growing in a bit. Great conditions everywhere and the greens are in perfect "fast" shape. If you have played the other Atlantic Golf courses then you are already know of the great service. You won't be disapointed.
