Hidden gem--in great shape and has as tough a starting 9 as any course in the area. Well worth the drive!

Two very different nines and some nice elevation changes considering the course is in the Tidewater area. The holes along the river are gorgeous.

I've played Piankatank over the past two years, while visiting my sons in Urbanna. The course is beautiful and I'm eager to get back and play again this month

This is one of Virginia's true secrets. It is in the middle of nowhere but truley a wonderful layout and a nice facility. The cost is a little high if you have to drive 70 miles to get there but it is well worth it. The course is fairly short but at the same time very difficult forcing you to play irons off the tee or risk overshooting the fairways. I will be back to play this hidden gem again.
