I reviewed the course two years ago, and have since played it again and am upgrading the rating. However, the conditions have deteriorated; the whole course looks pretty scruffy, (except for the greens which remain exceptional). What impresses me after more familiarity is the little chipping swales and the realization that missing the large greens carries a big penalty. Serene woodsy setting. Priced right, uncrowded.

This course is a good value and convenient to I-95. For a high slope rating course, it is surprisingly monotonous, although there are some different Par 5's. The Par 5 5th is a little gimmicky; the smart play is to lay up on your drive. The conditioning is not impressive at all for a new course, but the greens are very fast and roll true. Don't plan on walking, as holes can be miles apart. If you take advantage of the many bargains available, this is a good choice.
