This is a great track. Older style course that is in fabulous condition right now. The amenities and range are not true top notch but tolerable. The greens are huge and were running smooth and quick last week. Some pins were in some very nasty spots as well. You can score here but be sure to gauge the green size correctly. Approach shots can play three clubs difference based on where the pin is located. Play it before it gets to cold. You'll love the current conditions.

The course is very well maintained and in good condition every time I have played it. The par fours vary in length and allow the golfer to play just about every club in their bag during a round. The pace of play on weekend is average, about 4.5 hours for 18 holes. Golfers are permitted to walk all days of the week. The rates are very reasonable, $55 to walk and $67 to ride on the weekend. I recommend this course to everyone.

Great course. The greens were in phenomenal shape. They rolled fast and true. Just start it on the right line. The fairways were in great shape as was the rough. The bunkers do have some pebbles, though. The course can play from 7300 to 6800 to less depending upon which tees you play. Our round was on a Sunday and if a Marshall had pushed the group in front of us, we would have finished under 5 hours. That is the only complaint I had. The "inner 9" was a fun track with good greens.

Northwest is a great course, but it is not one of the best five courses in the state as it is ranked on this website. If you go in thinking it is, you will be sorely disappointed. It's in great shape and is a very fun test for your driver and long irons. The price is reasonable, although the county has increased the price dramatically over the past few years.

The best shape I've seen the course in years. For the amount of play they're doing a wonderful job of keeping it in good shape. If there is a downside then it's the range which is large but downhill and mats seem to have a downhill lie. Nice putting practice green. I heard they get 70K rounds a year here but hard to believe with the great conditions.

Played golf in and around Mo Co for years and made my first trip to Northwest this past weekend. I was pleasantly surprised with the great layout and course conditions were just outstanding. Lots of challenge, fair and scenic. The large greens are not overly difficult and provide a big enough target to make some greens in regulation. The range is decent and clubhouse and proshop are adequate. For the price and location I'll be back soon, I'd highly recommend you do the same.

Played with my buddy Rick last week and man this is a great classic layout. Lots of great holes and enough room to not be to tough on your game. For the location and price you really can't beat it.

Northwest is a great course that is underrated. A beautiful "grip it and rip it" tract that is playing well these days. The only complaint is that the greens were unnaturally fast. Otherwise, the fairways, staff, and scenery are second to few. Quiet, with no views of houses and clear cut areas.

Good condition, greens are fast and smooth even after being punched recently. Better pick the right tees; the course plays over 7200 from the tips, can score if you keep in the short grass.

The layout and design of this course is an area classic: LONG, mostly wide open, and it allows you to hit every club in your bag. The fairways and tees were in just about perfect shape. It's funny how they've narrowed all of their fairways to make it trickier (or to save money on mowing expenses). The greens were faster than in years past, and I think in about a week or two, once the final aeration holes have filled in, it should be perfect. For $35 after 2pm on Saturday, it's a great value.

The course is in the best shape I have ever seen. Fairways have filled in despite the problems they have had the past couple of years. The greens were the fastest I have ever seen here. The rough had just been cut, but was extremely lush. The bunkers had different types of sand from one to the next, but played very fair. This is just a great "grip it and rip it" type of course!

Older course that is pretty wide open and excellent for the beginner. Down side is that the majority of folks walk the course, so play is a bit slow. There is also a short 9-hole executive that goes about 2,500 yards that isn't bad to get some quick practice on.
