Great condition and some really challenging greens. Be ready to bomb away and also use proper club selection; one of the best around, a must play!

Played the course on Saturday for the first time and was very disappointed with the over all condition. Tee boxes were in poor shape and around the greens there were allot of bare spots. Course is not worth the 85 plus green fee. On a positive note the course has a good layout with some challenging par 3's.

Mountain Branch is a very nice course but never seems as nice as it should be. The conditions are very good this year but there are always problem areas throughout the course. For my money a course that is nearly 100 bucks should be in great shape from spring on. There are bald spots near some of the greens. The bunkers could be better maintained but are not terrible by any measure. Maybe I am overly critical but I can think of several courses in the area for half the money I'd rather play.

Very nice course, and in great condition. Good practice facilities with natural grass range. Was cart path only, so the GPS system was basically useless. Skycaddie doesn't have this course marked either, but the pro said it should be coming eventually. This is a very tough layout. Lots of high grass everywhere! Greens are very slick with a lot of unreadable undulation. Good elevation on many holes. Need better looking cart girls.

OVER-RATED, or is it just OVER-PRICED. Layout seemed to be forced at times. Greens were average (read- slow and untrue). Wouldn't play again unless a freebie or close to it.

Ok, I am going to update on my 1st rating. Course now is in bad shape, it didn't fair well with the drought. Many bare spots and even just dirt in what was the fairways. Just recently the course was treated for disease, cart path only rules in effect, no price break for the incovienence or conditions, they close 2/3 of the range (the best part) of to "members only" even when no members are present and people are waiting to use the chewed up 1/3 that is open.

Nice new course in excellent condition. A bit high in price, but the conditions and layout soon make you forget about your wallet.
