Good layout but proper management of course is needed. Lots of weeds growing in the green and course maintenance has been grossly neglected. Green fees do not reflect the type of course. Course was in better shape at the beginning of the golf season.

Played here in June 07, and the conditions here were as good as I've seen them in a long time. This is by no means a top-flight course, but it's a fun course to play and the greens were in really nice shape. The new clubhouse is really nice too if you care about that sort of thing. Hole No. 7 on the Longest nine is one of the most majestic in the area.

I think that the course design is an interesting and fun idea for golfers of all ability. The course begins at 0, that is, the first hole is practice. The island green is a very challenging hole, especially from the tips of the raised tee box. On one hole, there is a parascope to view forward golfers in the fairway, there is a difficult par 6 and the waterfall par three is a wonderment. All these feautures give the course personality, if your looking to have fun when you play golf.
