This was a disappointing experience for a premium course and price. The tee boxes were beat up and were not level. This is unacceptable. The greens looked neglected. Perhaps they were not aerated earlier this year. The course has tremendous potential but has yet to reach it. The fairways were in good shape and the course design is interesting. Pace of play was excellent at 4 hours. The bogey rating is for the price to value evaluation. I hope they can turn this one around.

Simple one of the best courses in the Mid Atlantic, and can't beat the winter rate of 47 dollars. Slick greens, superb conditions and some challenging 3 pars. Score well before you reach No.13; after that not a easy hole coming in. 15 is a par 4 from the tips into the wind that plays as a par 5. A must play!

Played on Sunday 10/15/06 with a discount coupon from the Internet. This was one of my all time favorite courses. Always play at least once a year. The course was in great shape with super fast greens. Negatives this year is all the construction going on. Too many houses and condos going up. Thought the attitude of the staff was a little harsh when compared to from years past. Just not as friendly. Had a coupon for free range balls but the range was closed. Don't know if I will go back.

Had a great experience! We were running a little late, but after a call to the clubhouse they were very accommodating. The staff, and starter were great. The course was in immaculate shape. The greens were amazingly true and smooth, yet challenging. The course is a great mix of tough holes and easy holes. I loved the outdoor grill that's available when you make the turn. Can't wait to play here again!

Mr. Ervin has done it again. (He also designed Birdwood, Queenstown Harbor, and Hilltop.) Beautiful, challenging, and interesting. I love the red rock formations; they make the course unique. I had high expectations and I was not let down! The course is in great shape and the layout is fun. Only a 90-minute drive from Springfield.

Recently played the Links of Gettysburg for the first time and love the place. The red rock accents makes for a memorable round. The layout is a good one that will challange the good and not so good golfer. The clubhouse and staff is very nice, would be great for an event or outing but it really is in the middle of farmland nowhere. Well worth the trip!

Top notch all the way around. Have to look very hard to find something to complain about here. Plus, if you sign up for their e-mail list, they always offer discounts.

This course is on my must play list at least once a year. The design and challange is one of a kind. The front nine is fairly negotiable then the back nine will test your game tremendously. The greens are some of the best and most challanging I have ever played. Being below the hole is key to scoring. The red rock, service and beauty is very nice and even though 45 mins away, it's worth the drive because usually not as busy as course closer to Baltimore. Try the course, you will ove it as well.

This course rocks! The red rock is a great element and sets off an already beautiful layout. The front nine gives you some chances to score, while the more difficult back nine can be a struggle if you can't find the fairways off the tee. Its not much fun to play iron off the tee but if you do you can post a decent number by playing a bit conservative coming down the back stretch. The facility is first class and the new driving range is outstanding with course like conditions. I'll be back soon!

Gettysburg Links - Awesome Course/ Layout great with some real WOW holes, I really love #3 one of my favorite holes. Greens: A nice speed around 10; Fairways A; Tee boxes A++ and the service was great from the car till the end of round. There is a little constuction gonig on, but it does not take away from the golf exp.

Now this is a golf course! If you have anything negative to say about Gettysburg you should just give up golf, cause you don't have a clue. Perfect staff, perfect golf course, perfect facility. Every green was unbelievable, and every fairway and tee were just right. In the dictionary next to golf course is a picture of this place. I challenge you to find a better place to play golf...anywhere! It was that good! I just wish it were cheaper. Without the free coupon it's out of my budget.

A "must" on any mid-Atlanticker's play list. Beautiful rock formations frame holes, classic upmarket daily-fee amenities and conditions, smartly designed, beautiful to look at and challenging to play. A few holes are open, but there's trouble around most of the rest. I was reminded a bit of Little Bennett (a high compliment in my book)--split fairway, elevation changes, crossing water and environmental areas, that sort of thing. Great to drive out to that area too.

My favorite course anywhere. I travel allot and when in the area play the course everytime I get. The red rock is truely a great design quality. The rough can be tough at times and the greens are challanging. If your in the area give it a try you will be very pleased. Hope to see you there.. ;)

Outstanding course. The fairways, greens are in top shape. The red rock mixed throughout the course is a beatuiful feature and contrast. Some tough holes on the back nine with narrower fairways and if its windy out the Par 3s can play much more difficult than they actually are.

If you have an outing to plan or gathering the clubhouse and facilities are top shelf and is a great place for events.
