I've been playing Lee's Hill off and on for nearly ten years. I must say that the course conditions this year show tremendous improvement. The fairways are free of weeds and have a consistent growth of Bermuda. The greens are in good shape as well, and fast.

I had not played here in couple of years and was pleasantly surprised. The course was in much better shape than I remembered. Always a great layout. The greens, tees and fairways were all in good shape.

The price can be right, but this place is in poor condition and has been for years, in spite of advertisements to the contrary. A terrific layout on what I guess must be a bad piece of property, or bad maintenance. This has been a disappointing place.

Played here a couple times this summer. Conditions are horrible. Where there is actual grass on the greens it is shaggy, and then other parts of the greens are just dead. The fairways are littered with weeds and piles of grass clippings. The layout is pretty good, but the conditions make the place a must NOT play.

Ditto, great course, conditions are'nt too great. the course is coming back though (greens, fairways, bunkers) it gets a good rating because of the great design.

Nice little track for the locals, but hoofing it down from Fairfax wasn't all worth the trip. Greens are a bit chewed up and moss is present on some of them making it a bumpy par putt ride. The GPS navigation in the carts though was a nice touch, especially since it was my 1st time at this course. Clubhouse was nice with full emenities and Andy one of the staff members, was very helpful with getting me out on time.

Pretty good layout, but it's just too bad that they never keep it in good shape. I've never been there when the course was in good condition. Shaggy, marked up greens, soggy, weed filled fairways and bare tee boxes have been the norm.

I would have to agree with the last most recent golfer entry. The conditions of the course are not up to snuff. But the layout is really nice. It's just ashamed that such a nice design isn't taken better care of. One bright side is that the course has a set of really nice Par 3s, scenic and tough.

A great layout suffering from mismanagement, inattention to detail, decaying infrastructure and poor maintenance. Course maintenance was poor except for sand traps...only problem there being too few rakes. Tees, fairways, rough and greens were all in poor condition. All infrastructure was crumbling - no water in coolers; only mats on driving range - most without tees; poor quality range balls; no beverage cart; cart paths in poor shape. Given option, don't waste the drive down there.

Nice flow and contours and mixutre of left and right doglegs. Not to long from blue tees and an overall nice course.

Nice course sand traps could stand more loose sand and disking on occasion. All in all a pleasant golfing experience.

After paying $40 to play 18 on a super Monday morning...I was expecting the course to be in great shape after the extensive (and expensive) changes they made to the course from last year. It turns out, they have just about wasted the time and money they put into the course last year. The club house: nice. The GPS carts: sweet! The staff: great. The course: HORRIBLE! The only thing decent about the entire track are the greens (AND THAT ONLY INCLUDES 15-16 OF THEM)!
Angry about great poteintal!

Nice course, over-rated, but nice. It's a little on the $$ side w/o the $$ quality. But one thing worth the price is the GPS system on board the carts. You will always know how far out from the pin you are, no matter how far off path you've managed to go! Pace is decent, and their bunkers are sweet!
