Excellent conditioning and course service. Helpful marshalls were around every 3 holes or so. I played last year and it was good, but this year I thought it was GREAT. The course is very mature for just its second year and the greens were very smooth and consistent which is important to me. I thought the tee boxes were a little worn where the tees were but overall very impressive all around!

Thought the course had a nice layout but disappointed in the some of the conditions and service for the money. When we first arrived there was no one there to greet us and remove the bags out of the car. Greens were not in great condition for a $100 price point course. Very disappointed in that. Tee boxes were also bare in spots which I could not understand. Would not play again at the current price point not worth that kind of money.

Played recently and the course is in good shape overall. Staff is not friendly and not very helpful. Marshall's were ridiculous! Cautioned us several times for slow play while we were waiting on the tee for the group in front of us to clear. There are many other great courses in the area for the same or less money that value my business.

Tremendous layout, service, and location. Bunkers needed a little work but in fairness there was an inch of rain the night before. I just happened to hit it into too many of them. Greens were also rolling about 9 or so which could have been a little faster without all the rain but they were definitely smooth. I give it an eagle since I feel the course would have played a little faster without the rain and would have been about perfect. Very friendly staff and talked to the head pro for 10 minutes!

I think the layout is great however I thought the conditions were a little disappointing. I thought the tees boxes were too beat up, too many divots in the fairways and too many ball marks on the greens. Also I didn't think the greens were all that fast. The rough was pretty thick for the most part especially around the greens. For the price I think I didn't get a good value for what I paid. If the conditions were better then I could see it would be great. Just disappointed.

Fantastic course and layout. Greens probably rolled at 10 which was fast enough for all the slopes. Very interesting chipping areas and fairways. Very nice range and clubhouse and friendly staff. Reviews are correct that course is a winner.

The greens and chipping areas are the best part of this course. Great challenge for your short game. Easily the best conditioned course I have played this year.

Layout is fun and challenging and conditioning is deserving of the eagle rating. The greens had heat damage last year and are 200% better this year. The whole course has reached its "maturity" and is a great play. Nice to warm up on a real range with no mats, nice balls, and real short game area also. I took advantage of the replay rate also and played twice!

Outstanding conditioning and very helpful friendly staff. Marshalls on the course are more helpful than bothering you about pace. Played today and with a busy day, played in 4:35. Pretty good for public play since most places would be 5+ hours! Course conditions are best around. Beats Old South, Renditions, Woodmore and other area courses hands down! Play for $79 early on Fridays for a great value.

If you think you've got game...be a man and play the black tees. This will end allot of trash talking and introduce allot of folks to humility! A great layout and it's to be respected from back there. They could speed up the greens a little, but it would only lend to slow play. The staff is great and friendly. All smiles. This course is a true gem in this state. Wish more courses would get the message. Club House could easliy become a nice jazz spot overlooking holes No. 9 and No.18 and the lake!

Lake Presidential did not live up to the hype surrounding it. The layout has a lot of potential, but is still under construction. Lots of dirt, clear cut areas, and construction views. The condition of the course, however, is good shape. The greens are perfect and the fairways are good. I give it a par because it still needs to grow in.

Great course and conditioning. Layout is phenomenal. Challenges every club in your bag. Service is excellent and the starter was very helpful in choosing the blue tees over the longer black tees. Boy am I glad I did. They have a discount card that gives $10 off every round also.

Fabulous layout and green sites. Lots of character (especially chipping) around this new course. Bunkers are fantastic as well. Should be in excellent shape this season although it is already pretty good considering its winter. On the pricey side of public golf but certainly not the most expensive. Great value for the caliber course though considering Bulle Rock at $150 or Stonewall at $119. Those are the only courses that come close. Nice pro shop staff also.

Had a chance to play last week for the first time. In great shape for the winter. Can't wait to see it this Spring and Summer. Hard to pick a favorite hole but probably No. 8, a long par 5. Staff and clubhouse all exceptional. Try the burger and curly fries.

Tremendous value. Especially at winter rates. Every hole is unique and range is huge and all grass. They don't even have mats in the winter. Believe the reviews and buy the yardage book though.

Great course, maybe the best I've played. Exceptional value but winter rates make it even better right now. Staff brought us hot chocolate on the course. Very classy. Hole No.8 is the toughest in the state by far. A yardage book is a definite help.

Great course layout and condition. Challenging risk reward holes and you definitely use all your clubs. Extra good value at winter rates right now. Worth the money in season but a bonus this time of year. Range is very upscale and no mats!

Unreal golf course. Greens, fairways, rough, tees, clubhouse, and staff were all immaculate or first class. Water plays on many holes and the chipping areas require creativity. Not too tough off the tee from the blues but tough to make a lot of birdies unless your iron play is at your best. Has to me the best place east of DC and maybe in the whole region! I would play there every week. Worth the drive!

Great Course and one of the best, if not the best I've ever seen! Greens and fairways top notch, especially for a new course. Food was great and the right price and staff was private club caliber. Some interesting risk/reward holes but everything is very fair. Awesome collection areas and interesting chip shots for those like me who don't hit all the greens. I put it up with some of the nation's best in layout and conditioning. A definite must play if you haven’t been there.

I have played this course 5 or 6 times now and it is in the best shape I've seen it! Tees, fairways, and greens were immaculate. Rough was a little thick but the fairways give you enough room to stay out of it. Staff was very nice and informative. Buy the yardage book as it will save you a few shots (I finally did and finally broke 80). By the way, this is not The Presidential that closed last week in VA. Should be the best place in MD soon if they keep this pace up.

Play this course while you can! They will certainly go up in price; although the GM says they are going to keep things reasonable. From the course to service, they have put a lot of effort into the experience. The negative reviews below are likely from a competing course. This course is awesome. From bag drop to the parking lot I rate it the best in the region.

As an avid golfer like myself, I didn't like the course to much at all. The management was horrible and the conditions of the course were disappointing along with the service of the employees. I had a very different aspect going in then I did coming out. There won't be a next time for me playing there if some things don't change.

I am not sure what everyone is complaining about on these reviews. If everyone who writes reviews had half of a brain and maybe a decent sub 100 golf game, they might have something to consider when writing reviews. Also if anyone understands the heat and humidity of the Middle Atlantic and how well this golf course has recovered as they have put lots of money into it as you can see if you have played this wonderful track.

Played a few weeks ago and they were doing lots of work on the course. Looks like it has paid off! The greens are back in good shape and tons of clearing along the fairways. Staff was really nice and they have flavored towels after your round which I have never seen before. I said I would wait till next year but will definitely play more this Fall! They have a cool deal on Sundays for football season too. A shotgun start and tailgate with food and beer.

Course needs a lot of work. It is a good layout, but going through a lot of growing pains due to poor green and fairway conditions. My two rating is due to a combination of the ground crew needing to figure out a thing or two about keeping the course in shape and the public not using good course etiquette; not repairing balls marks and divots. Give this place a year or two before playing and it should be great. For know it is not worth the 100 bucks. Play Renditions instead.

Believe the hype! This place is awesome. Great layout and range. Staff is excellent. Took a lesson before my round since one of the pros was on the range with demos and teaching. Definitely shaved a few shots off. The yardage book was helpful and some more local knowledge will be a plus next time. Greens rolled well. Some spots in teh rough looked stressed by heat but otherwise in great shape, especially for a new course. Toughest holes were 8, 9, and 15.

I have now played the course 6 times. This is the greatest layout in MD by far. They are having some first year issues that many courses still go through. Would have rated worse if possible. Management too concerned with collecting over priced fee, and not with adequately maintaining the course and honestly dealing with patrons. Played on 5/30 and course was in great shape, then played on 6/24 and the course was terrible greens should be closed and repaired, collars have no grass on them, and fairways show strain due to recent storms and heat, but his is in June. What is going to happen in July/August? Great layout but poor management.

While, I was excited to play this new course, afterward I left a little disappointed. Staff and amenities were top notch, but the course condition wasn't. The greens were slow and bumpy, some already worn by the heat, the rough along some of the fairways was clumpy and uneven, poor drainage on a few fairways and chipping areas by greens were soggy and wet. Maybe I expected too much since it was new, I will give it another try, but not at the full rate.

At this price this is the best course around! A 4:50 min round on Saturday was enjoyable as well as the great scenery. Greens rolled true and fairways were very generous. Friendly staff was out spotting balls for players. Would like to see more yardage markings but the guide was very helpful. Cool that they had all their demos on the range and the pro was conducting a public clinic as well. I took the clinic and easily saved 5 shots! Great new addition to the area and a must see.

Excellent layout and condition for a new course. A few greens showing some wear from heat but very nice. Range balls in cart a nice touch and the rangers spotting balls show first class service as well as the bag drop staff. A few spotty areas in the fairway should be fixed in time.

Nice track! Will get even better as it continues to develop. Played in Solstice like the other guys. It rained 3 inches the night before so greens were not quick and fairways pretty wet in the AM round. Would like to see it on a dry day. Definately invest in a yardage book. Staff was nice and the food was very good. Bunkers were inconsistent but mostly due to the rain.

Excellent new course. Greens were a little slow but rolled smooth mostly. Not sure it would be fair to speed them up to 11 with the slopes. In good shape for a new layout and will only get better. Nice range, clubhouse and golfshop. Reviews on the cart girls are true! Talked to the pro who was out on the course talking to the players. I will definately be back rather than fight the bridge to Queenstown and others. Only negatives was CPO and the number 5 green was bumpy due to heat stress.

Played today in the Solstice Cup Event. After 3 rounds in one day, I can say this is the hands down best test of golf in our area! Will say it will beat Bulle Rock and destroy Queenstown this Fall. Suffered a little from the severe heat but the course layout was awesome! The staff, the food, and service were all first rate. Nathan, the pro is a great guy and "gets it" with golf in this area. These guys are here for the long haul. I could play it every day. Cart girls get an A+ plus also!

Amazing course, must play! Most beautiful course I have played around this area. Very challenging, especially for the first time out. Get a yardage book to know where you're going. Keep it in the fairway because missing it often means side hill lies or tough rough. Gorgeous clubhouse, get the burger and curly fries, so good. Oh, and a HOT cart girl.

Blind shots off the tee, very few yardage markers. Greens were very slow. Buy a yardage book! Practice range is grass but landing area is on a hill. The fringe and areas around the greens are shaved but the practice green is surrounded by thick rough? Shouldn't you make the practice green similar to what you'll find on the course? Pace of play was slow. Marshals were at least trying to speed up play. Good course but not great.

I played after reading the reviews in the magazines and on the sites and must say it lived up to expectations! Expect to play in 4:30 as it is challenging. I thought the grill at the turn was cool and got a burger, chips and a beer for about $10. The all grass range is great, way better than mats. I also learned that they will be doing tee times off #1 and #10 in July as some kind of "Beat the heat" program. I recommend it. Even for the $95 price, it was a lot of fun and great greens!

Wow! Played the course today and was amazed! Even though the heat was tough, they had great conditions. The greens weren't super fast, but consistent, only 1 or 2 were suffering from heat. The staff even brought iced towels out. Pace was 4:22 at 1:30! Talked to the GM and learned the ladies ratings and the GPS charting of the course will be finished in the next week, so the scorecards can be completed and additional yardages put out. What a spot, three cheers! A must play over and over!

This new course has spectacular greens and a great layout. Rough in places still growing in, but solid overall. Sand traps are sub par, however. Very little sand in any of them and completely compacted. Location is a little shaky just as an FYI. One of the players in our group had his clubs stolen last week from the bag drop area! This is a beautiful course though and well worth the drive and fee.

Not much for writing reviews on courses but this one rates my effort. Up front, my overall opinion is this is the best overall course and facility in the metro area. A few minor issues which I believe will be fixed in due time. First, no GPS or comp yardage book and no HCP of holes on score card. Course is very fair, no tricks, but course management and shot making is critical. Has one of every lake, pond, stream, bunker, hazard, slope, and tree line imaginable. A must play!

Played yesterday and the course was in great shape. Excellent practice facilities & nice grass range. Greens were kind of slow throughout, but rolled smooth. Need to add more yardage markers & the course plays very tough with the wind on the lake. If you haven't played the course before get a yardage book, there are plenty of hidden things you should know about. Plus, there are no diagrams of the holes anywhere. Definitely played harder than the given rating and slope. I hope to play it again soon.

Played here for the first time and the course layout is excellent. Course drains well. We did have issues with the marshall. Our foursome was playing behind a twosome and on the front 9 the marshall started hounding us from the 4th hole to 8th hole, telling us to speed up play. With high rough and CPO, we played as fast as we could. We complained to the pro. At $90 a round, we didnt expect to be treated like that. Course has not been rated and isn't marked well yet.

Wow, might be an understatement for this great new course. I've played many tracks but few have the overall character and challenge hole-to-hole as Lake Presidential Golf Club. The course is very grown in for a new course and even though there are a few houses on the front nine, not nearly as many as most expect for a housing development course. The staff, services and clubhouse are all first rate. It's made my all time favorites list and you'd be crazy not to visit this course soon!

Played on a May 6th and it wasn't that crowded. It's a fun course with a lot of elevation changes and some long carries. The greens were a little slow because they had been vericut, but they rolled true. The clubhouse is beautiful and there is a grass driving range with nice practice area. I will be back and highly recommend that others play it.

Played it on its 1st weekend and it's a very tough but nice course. Play from middle tees (6000 yards) if you are over a 15. Greens were not rolled, a bit shaggy and slow, which was a surprise. Not well marked regarding yardage markers. At turn, you can get a burger from an outdoor grill but must wait for cooking and then go inside to pay! This caused a large backup to start the 2nd 9. Oh, burger and soda was over $12!
