I really enjoyed this course it has a fun layout, reasonably open, but a few holes have fairways with sharp drop-offs on either side. With all the rain we've had, this course is still "firm and fast", particularly on the greens. The greens are a story unto themselves. Like putting on your dining room table. Good luck holding them from the fairway. Very inexpensive and uncrowded, friendly and playable. A good course among many good choices in Front Royal.

Nice drives and wonderful second shots, but couldn't keep my ball on the greens. I felt as if I was chipping and putting on glass. The greens are mowed so low and every slope takes you off the green. The course is fairly open from tee to green. I felt it was a fair course and in good shape. There are a number of "pretty" holes, especially the two par 3's on the back nine. It's the greens that may keep me off this course but judge for yourself.

Not a bad course. It has some interesting hole designs with nice scenery. I hate playing on courses near homes for fear of breaking something with that random errand shot. Homes are not really a factor here. Was worth the drive out to play. I plan to return.

This course is very affordable and I played 18 holes riding for $22 on a weekday afternoon. The fairways and greens were in good shape and the layout is hilly but fair. Pretty wide open and with little trouble to be had. All in all an unremarkable course but affordably priced.

I just played this course for the first time on Sunday. The course is short, but has a great layout. There are several blind shots, but nothing unfair about it. Greens are very undulated and probably a blast in the summer.

Nice fairly tight course with difficult, fast greens. These are as fast as I've ever seen. I think they are faster than Worthington Manor. It's a short course which sets up well for most players. Long hitters can probably leave 5-iron and up in the trunk.

Sloped greens force you to be precise with your shotmaking. The views of the Shenandoah countryside are beautiful.

Very affordable.
