The greens were in rough shape, but I hadn't been out in a while and a groundskeeper at Queenstown the day before said it had been a tough summer. Nonetheless, this looked like a public course. Lots of nicks, browns and dents in the greens. I don't understand why they didn't move the tee box markers out of the divot fields; tees were a mess. There were no maps on the scorecard or on the course, so it was a crap shoot guessing where to hit. They did have GPS in carts and yards to green/traps.

This is the second time I played this course and was even more impressed this time. The course is in excellent condition. The ball really sits up in the fairway and the greens rolled with good speed and true. The layout is outstanding and challenging, particularly from the back tees. Great value as well. $25 twilight rate. Kudos to the staff and the greens keeper for doing such an outstanding job with a course that gets a lot of play.

Still a very good course after all these years. When I recently played the course it was in good shape, except outside the sprinkler line where the rough is very dry. Greens were quite nice.

This course won't win any architecture awards, but it is a very attractive property and very carefully maintained, particularly for a municipal course. As you see from others, open front nine with many ponds, but generally out of play; and a tight, narrow back nine. Great for walkers. Flat, large, medium-speed greens that roll true. The course is just a lot of fun to play in a pleasant setting.

The fairways were great and rough was OK. Greens were in good shape and rolled nicely.

A beautiful, underpopulated course on the Eastern Shore. Two nines of differing character - open on the front, tighter on the back. This course requires a lot of different shots and provides some nice risk-reward scenarios. A couple of fairways under repair, but overall in excellent condition especially the greens, which are brand new. A very friendly staff. The only drawback is that the driving range requires you to hit off of mats and is short (about 225 yards).
