A hilly and attractive layout just outside Roanoke. This course isn't too hard, but has some intimidating holes, particularly if you are spraying drives. Short par 5's, but long par 3's. Pretty uncrowded and moved at a quick pace. Conditions are OK, but the bunkers were in excellent shape. Beware...putts peculiarly tend to break southeast no matter where you are. A couple of great views.

Bring your "A" game here. Tight fairways, and very tricky undulating greens will make for a long day here if you aren't precise with your game. Having a great short game will benefit you greatly here, because you will not hit many GIR's the first time out. Some very interesting views on a course that demands accuracy. Conditions were very good, and the price was less than $50 during prime time on a weekend. Definitely worth a play if you are in the Roanoke area.

This is a beautiful course in the mountains. The staff is very friendly, and junior golfers are welcomed. I play this course every chance I get.
