Played this course on Friday and was very pleased. The greens were in great shape. This is best course I've played all season and worth the drive.

First time I have ever played this course somewhat disappointing. The layout was awesome with a lot of elevated tee boxes, elevation changes and a variety of holes. #7 was probably the best hole on the course make sure you get your yardages perfect on that hole. The big negative was the greens, this course has the worst greens in the state of MD. They were extremely bumpy, inconsistent and slow. Other than the greens what a great course.

The course has a great layout and staff, however the greens were not in good shape. Check before making the drive.

Course is in perfect shape. The greens are starting to get fast. Fairways are a must!

Played with my friend Eddie last week and simply love this place. The course is very scenic and the condition and quality course I find it hard to believe this is a county fun facility. I only wish the course was closer to my home but it's worth a trip up 95 outside Baltimore to play it. I highly recommend you give it a whirl!

Me and the husband drive all over to play courses in MD, PA and VA and recently played Greystone just north of Baltimore. I love the course it's visually stunning. The large greens, rolling hills and beautiful clubhouse are all very snazzy. What's best is that the price isn't to high and that's great for everyone in this economy.

Greens are not in very good condition and pace of play was very slow. Layout is great but for the price the greens should be in better condition. Way too many un-repaired ball marks affecting the greens. Careful driving cart down to the range the downhill slope is a bit treacherous.

The layout is the best around without paying for and playing the overpriced course slightly north. Elevations changes variety and the conditions were outstanding this past weekend. I love the overall atmosphere. If you're in the area don't believe the Bulle and try Greystone instead. They have nice facilities for outings as well but it is a bit north for corporate outings.

One of my favorite courses for the challenge and overall design. Lots of variety that for both the bomber and shot maker. Conditions are always in good shape and the staff is among the best every time I play the course. It's a bit further away from the city than other named courses but worth the trip.

Conditions are great. Greens very fast and rolling very true. Fairways and teeboxes are in nice shape. Great customer service and nice place for a round of golf. Baltimore County rates justed dropped also on the 29th of October.

Played it again 3/9 and still think the greens are more absurd than they are difficult. Even when the greens are soft, too many impossible pin placements for the average golfer. But overall, course was in great condition (lush fairways) and fairly cheap midweek. Get there before summer rates take a hike!

For cost, extremely dissapointing. Fine layout, but conditions are almost unfair. A lot of blind trouble. Easy to lose balls just a couple yards off fairway. Greens are usually hard, unaccepting of approaches. Plenty of 3-putts, even on a good day. They wanted upscale, instead they just got difficult. 80's shooters can expect 90's, 90's in the 100's, you get the point. Not a bad choice if you can score coupons or a player's pass, but don't flop down more than $40.

Course was challenging, and often seemed quite unfair. If you intend to play there, try to hook up with someone who knows the course. Too many blind pitfalls. Staff rushed us out well before our tee time because we arrived early, and we ended up waiting on the next tee box anyway.

I am going to have to go against what most people said here. My foursome and I made the drive out to the course for twilight. We found the staff to be very brief and dissorganized. The course was very nice and very challenging but you could tell there had been a lot of traffic...just too many people moving through in too short an amount of time

Above average challenging course with beautiful surroundings.

One of the very best course to play regardless of price. You get a taste of US open condition greens - true and fast. Approach shots MUST be below hole or you will three putt or four putt. Excellent service and great conditioned greens, tee boxes and fairways. If your foursome was complaining about long drive to get to course, they will be singing praises on way back. Not gimmicky. Fair and challenging. Bring A game to course if you want to score well - your score may be 10 higher than handicap.

Wow, what a fanatastic suprise this course turned out to be. Attended a golf outing here and when I found out it was a county run course, I had my doubts, but let me say it was worth the 2 hour ride I took. Rolling fairways and greens and plenty of bunkers make this a challenging course that is at least worth one visit from my fellow golfers! Huge clubhouse with full emenities as well as driving range, putting green and even a short green with fairway and traps to practice on too. A real gem

In the DC area, its difficult to find a well conditioned, challenging course at a decent price, but Greystone managed it. The course measures 6900 yards from the tips and the greens slope so severely, I watched 10 footers end up at 20 feet. Next time a I'll pay more attention when the starter says, "Don't get above the hole." The course was in excellent shape. The greens were running aroung 10, and the fairways were well kept and lush. For $55 on weeknds, its one of the best values around.

Most high end priced courses can't touch this baltimore county run course.
The course has both wonderful facilities including grass range, chipping and putting practice area. The clubhouse is large and overlooks nearly the entire course. The course itself offers a wide varitey of holes with many sand bunkers. Also if you a long hitter most of the Par 5s are reachable in two so eagle and birdie opporutnity is there if you can capitalize and stay in the fairway. Just an overall beautiful course
