If you want a serious test of some of the slickest greens around, make the trip to Greencastle. I recently played in a 20-mph winds and course was all I can handle. Outstanding conditions and par 5's make you work.

This course is worth a visit! It's a challenging course though long ball hitters will have an advantage. The course rolls over hills just outside of Greencastle. The signature Par 3 3rd hole has a man-made waterfall and fountain. Perhaps the toughest hole in all of Franklin County is the long Par 4 10th with an island green that bisects itself with an abrupt elevation change. The next two holes are no less challenging. For short hitters, strategy is premium, whether to go for it or not. The conditions are wonderful and though I've had some tough rounds, I've always enjoyed the lay-out though I would not want to walk the 18 due to the long walk from some greens to tees. This course is worth the visit...it has a unique feel to it!
