I give it a birdie due to the excellent value here, and very good conditions. Fairways were beautiful, tee boxes and greens were good to excellent. Very friendly staff both in and out of the clubhouse. You'd better bring your best putting game to this course, as these greens are pretty small and very tricky. I like a challenge, but today's pin placements were someone's idea of a cruel joke!

The new holes on the front nine are nice! Overall the course was in great shape. Greens were excellent and tee boxes have improved since I played it last fall. A few blind shots and small undulating greens make up for any lack of length on this course. A good course and a good value.

This was the first time I played after the renovations. I liked the feel of the "new" front 9. It was a major improvement over the original set up. Fairways, rough and traps were in good order. Tees and greens were a little rough. If you like older style courses, Goose Creek is a nice place to play. Still no driving range. Very walkable.

It's a classic design that has dwindled in years in my mind. The layout isn't bad just a bit tight for my tastes. Some of the holes just don't make any sense and I just don't like playing here. Plus what course DOESN'T have a range? They revamped the clubhouse a few years back and didn't put in a range? I guess they don't have the land.

Recent improvements include new carts, renovated clubhouse. Fairways and greens were in good shape, but a few tee boxes really need to be redone. Not the longest course, but the many blind shots, small undulating greens, and deep well-placed bunkers can eat your score up in a hurry. A good challenge and worth the reasonable price. Two holes are still closed for renovation.

They should call it goose crap instead of creek. The course has a decent layout, classic parkland but not the best overall experience. They clientele is more the blue jean beer drinking crowd. The conditions were fair but nothing spectacular. There are better tracks close by but I have a couple of friends that like playing here. Worth a play but don't get to excited about it.

I played "18" on Aug. 10th. The 1st hole is a par 5 under construction which is now a par 4 I would assume. The 2nd hole was completely closed. The 3rd hole you tee off from the fairway up towards the green making this hole a makeshift 190 yd. par 3. The 4th hole has construction going across the fairway about 50 yards from the green. The 6th hole was a par 3 that was also closed. These things should have been mentioned before I payed to play this course. I knew the $30 was too good to be true.

If you have not been here in a while you will be pleasantly surprised. The course is in much better shape that it was several years ago, especially the greens. First timers should know that it is an old style course where holes are close to each other and some par 4s are rather short. However, they are growing the rough a little higher to keep it challenging. I give the course birdie rating because at $40 for a Saturday AM round with cart this is a great value.

Small, old, course, in poor "muni" condition. No range. Price is extremely low, if you just want to swing a club. Not sure how they stay in business at those rates. Play is slow, as the course attracts many choppers who play once or twice a year. Watch for specials , you can get golf, cart, hat, and lunch for $35 at times!

I played here about 15 years ago and it hasn't changed much from what I remember. I played it in August and it wasn't in bad shape. The tee boxes could have been in better condition but, the fairways and greens weren't bad. It wasn't crowded so the pace was good. This is a classic old course and I wish someone would buy it that cares and get it in the shape it deserves.

I was pleasantly surprised with this course this summer and I went back and played it twice more. It certainly does not match up to the higher end courses but it does have a very good price and a decent course. On my first round the boaring bees had trashed some fairways but a few weeks later the fairways looked new and the course was in great condition. The lack of practice range is a draw back. Not a must play but if you live near it I would recommend playing a round.

Design is ok, price is fair for the area but just seems to be lingering until the land gets bought and developed. They need a range and staff is always kind of rude. There are far better courses nearby in my mind. This classic deserves better upkeep and management.

I'm not sure why I see all this negativity! I was pleasantly suprised when recently playing this classic course. It seems that the current management team has truely stepped up. This course had been neglected in the past, however they seem to have put some work in to the course. The fairways and greens are plush, but greens a little bumpy - "typical poanna". The bunkers and and tee boxes need attention. The amentities have improoved and new staff is great. Historical value priceless!!!

Play is agonizingly slow -- 5 hours for a twosome who started at 2:45 on a Sunday afternoon. Many of the tee boxes are crabgrass messes. Fairways are generally in good condition, but greens are spotty. The second hole green, in particular, is almost entirely dirt. This is a great course layout, but the place need serious work and some marshals who will do something about the pace of play.

The course has potential to very nice, but the agonizing slow play and lack of marshals ruins what could be a very nice experience. Greens are small and hard, but overall not bad. Better course managment and I'd become a member, I just can't afford to spend 5-6 hours on 18 holes as I've done on weekends and weekdays here.

Great location - nice surroundings. Lots of blind tee shots. Putting surface would compare with the dirt road near the course.

I live five minutes from this place and it's just not worth it to endure this course. The conditions are horrible. Greens never roll true, and tees are horrible as well. Pace of play is ALWAYS slow. I shoot 5 strokes higher at this course then I do anywhere else. I'll continue to drive 30 minutes to better facilities and pay $20 more to get a quality round of golf that is less crowded.

A declining course, begging for your money. Poor course management, and they're at a point where teenagers are running the place. Expect this place to be sold in the next year or two. The owner(s) surely don't care for it.

Iplayed it sometime this past May. I did not like it at all. I didn't mind the small greens or the blind shots...what I didn't like was how slow it played: no marshal came by the entire 5.5 hours I was out there. I was also annoyed by all the errant shots that rain down on you from the other tight fairways. It was like playing a muni, but paying twice the money. There are much better courses around here that are more reasonably priced.

For the price and in the area you can't beat it. The design of the course is a bit tight in areas and if you haven't played the course before you can get in trouble quick. Greens are in fair shape and overall course is semi-friendly to average golfers like myself. No range which is a bummer but renovated clubhouse is nice. Not a bad track but can get slow on the weekend.
