The Osprey Golf Club just opened the restaurant last week which is a big plus because they have great food. This course has a tricky layout which is closer to aim golf. They have a driving cage but not a driving range. The conditions were great, greens were firm and speedy, fairways and tee boxes were in good shape. The best aspect of this course is the price at $30 with a cart on the weekdays. This is a good cheap course to work on your accuracy.

Played Bull Run in early November and the greens were amazing. The staff was friendly, the bloody mary's were crisp, tee boxes were clean, and the course was in great shape. It was a Monday afternoon round and the course had a cart girl driving around who was very sweet, the driving range was free, plus a separate chipping green from putting green. Great course.

On 11/9/2011 the course was not in playable condition. The fairways were saturated, causing balls to plug and the leaf conditions were conducive to several lost balls. There was no advance warning that the policy was cart path only, as it had to be with the saturated fairways. A surely Marshall did not contribute to the golf experience.

We were not informed in advance the course would be cart path only. Actually it should have been closed. Muddy fairways, plugged lies and leafs to hide the balls, and a Marshall with a VERY bad attitude. We intended to play 18 and decided to play only 9 after discovering the conditions. This is a 4-some that will not be back. Suggest a review of the management and staffing at this course is needed.

Played course yesterday and got on for $42 bucks. Course for this time of year was in fantastic condition. Lots of risk reward shots and the back nine gets more interesting with a good number of water holes. Though difficult, I loved the Par 3 number 11. Very nice amenities inside clubhouse as well and I found the staff to be very conversational and friendly. I'm sure you'll enjoy the course since most people play golf for the course challenge and not so much for the practice tees!
