To piggyback on the previous post, I liked the local vibe allot. Apparently it's a family owned course, unique in this area. I walked on about 8am on a Thursday after being unable to get off at Enterprise due to ladies league play. Was able to tee off within 30 minutes. The big slope off the first tee had me renting an electric cart on this muggy morning. I misread some breaks. Wise to look at slopes adjacent to greens for reads. I played for $40 but guys I met their had passes for under $20

This course has a local hangout vibe that is unlike most others in the area. Course in great shape and the greens were very difficult to read. I can't say they're particularly quick, just hard to read. Course is fairly open, but mature trees line many holes, reducing the "airspace" available for your shots. It's short, but par is 70, so it doesn't feel too short.

The course was well manicured and fairways were really challenging this past weekend. You had to pick the right club every time. The greens were very fast, making putting tough. But that's where we win the game right. I recommend this course for everyone this year.

I'm always impressed when I play here. For a privately owned course it is always in good shape. It may not be the most challenging, but there are several holes that will give you a test. The greens make up for the easier holes as they are a good test for putting.

Played early during the week, Great course, I never once felt like I was playing a shorter course. The fairways are in good shape, greens are excellent. Course had its' maintenance crew go through each hole machine grooming the bunkers. Everything you hear about their Staff is true, ultra friendly can't wait to go back.

Dollar for Dollar, the best bargain in metro region. Excellent green conditions. Not very long, but makes you make shots.

The course is family owned and has a plantation house that has been there since the 1800's. Great customer service that you just don't see by the courses run by pimpley kids hired by the big management companies. Quick slopey greens and just a fun course to play. $41 bucks including cart on weekend, hard to beat that price less that 7 miles from the beltway.

Have played here many times. It's located right down the road from Enterprise. Long time family-owned course, not real long but a lot of fun to play. Greens are famously quick and always in good conditon. Clubhouse and practice range are mediocre, but the staff and instruction are friendliest around. #9 is all you want - one of the toughest golf holes in the area.

This course although short by modern standards might be one of the toughest courses i've ever played, not to mention all of the character and tradition it posseses. The greens make this course, you may be able to drive some of the par 4's but that doesn't mean you are making eagle or birdie for that matter.I recommend this place to anyone that wants a true challenge of golf, even in the age of of 400 yd drives. One things for sure this course proves that you might 'Drive for show but put for dough"

Played most recently on May 30th.The course was in good shape. As always, the pace of play was pretty slow, and we were in a group ahead of the Club Pro. The jerk kept hitting up on us. It was not that we were playing slow, we were held up due to the group ahead. When the Marshall came around (very nice guy by the way) he understood, but also made it clear that he could not do much because of who it was. Real Nice. The course is one of my favorites, but the Pro there has soured me.
