What a nice, out-of-the-way surprise. Reasonable parkland course, with fast greens, hard-and-fast fairways, but lush rough. Great conditions for the astronomically low rate...through an Internet deal, paid just $25 on holiday afternoon! Not surprisingly, a little crowded, but moved pretty well. Wish I'd read the advice on here about the pond guarding 10. Good, basic golf.

Played here yesterday and for $40 with a cart it was well worth it. Despite the long ride being the only downside, the course was wonderful. Greens were the same pace on every hole and in good condition. Fairways and tee boxes were taken care of too. It was also nice to see golfers putting in fill to repair their divots on the fairways and tee boxes, this just keeps the course up to standards and hats off to all that have done so. Sandwiches and clubhouse were really good as well. Very nice.

I enjoy playing this course very much. It’s a fun time, but the problem is gets too busy out on the course, too many rounds are being played at once. Always a delay for tee times due to some sort of tourney. The staff doesn't even acknowledge you waiting, very rude; very disappointing especially for the quality of the course. I will most likely not play it again due to the staff.

Fairways were green and lush on every hole from tee boxes to green. Also, the greens were thick and the greenest I've seen in a while with all the dry weather we have been having. I was really impressed with this course, lots of room left to right if you hit a shot off the fairway and holes are long to test your game. Staff was very friendly and accommodating and they have all the amenities. Only down side was dried out rough areas, but the course greens & fairways are well maintained. I will return.

Its a really nice course. The rough is thick and you pay penalty if you hit a bad tee-shot. The greens are OK.

Played Glade this past weekend. The Rough has completed browned out already. Landing your tee shots in the rough didn't impose any sort of penalty at all, in fact, it was almost like hitting a cart path. The lies on the fairways were comparable to the lies from the rough! Tees were in spotty condition on some holes, but generally good. Greens seemed rock hard, but did roll true. Overall, very disappointed that this course has gone to the wayside. Booked a tee time well in advance and arrived in advance and was delayed 30 minutes due to a tournament running over? I used to love Glade but dont plan on going back anytime soon.

First off, I'm not a hater. I love Glade Valley's layout and scenic views. It has tremendous potential! However, this past Sunday, with the sun shining and temps in the mid-70s, this course was in shameful conditions gor $47 walking. The greens, which were aerified more than a month ago are filled in with grass completely, yet they are bumpier than a face full of pimples on a 8th grader. The course also forgot to mow their tee boxes and fairways. Very frustrating conditions.

Played the course this past weekend and found it to be in pretty good shape. They aerated about three weeks ago and it is just about grown in. For the most part the greens ran nicely. The fairways and rough were nice and lush. The bunkers were in need of some fresh sand. The course was a little crowded because everyone was trying to beat the rain on this rainy weekend. This is a very friendly course and I imagine I'll play it a couple times this year.

Great course, greens and fairways in great shape. They were very busy when I played, so I had a group in front and behind. I did feel a little rushed. But this course is a must play and the staff was very friendly.

The layout is flat and unchallanging. The fairways are only fair. I played on Sunday and the greens were terrible. They were grossly uneven with bald patches. I talked to the counter person and he said to take it up with the groundskeeper. Kind of a "not my job" attitude. Not what I expect for $50 in the middle of nowhere!

Decent course with plenty of room for wayward shots. Nice play and not a croweded as other courses so pace is always pretty good. Stay below the hole and you should post a decent number. My cousin always beats me on other courses but for some reason I always play decent here.

Nice muni, type course we hit every now and then. A bit more challange that Clustered but can get just as busy, even though its a bit out of the way further up Hwy. 15. Staff is friendly and has decent proshop. My favorite holes are the Par 3s. Greens roll nice and true.

For the most part, the course is in great shape. A few tee boxes in rough shape, but fairways and greens were about as good as I've seen in the area of late. Greens were VERY fast, considering we'd gotten rained on that morning, and a few of the holes with big slopes were so fast on the downhills that they were pretty much unmakable from above the pin.All in all, an enjoyable course -- plenty of space for stray shots, good distances, well-placed hazards -- I'd play there again anyday.

Greens where above average and fairways in nice shape. Tee boxes a little bare and the rough has a lot of bare spots. If you can get by the muni feel of balls flying everywhere since a lot of the holes are close. This is a great value for the money. Staff very friendly and meet all of our needs

If you don't mind a little bit of a drive off the beaten path, it's well worth it. Haven't been there yet when it wasn't in great shape. Classic layout, some trouble to be found, great individual holes. There's nothing spectacular about Glade, just an above average course at a very reasonable rate. Never backed up either.

Not a bad course but needs some work on the tee boxes and the greens. It is a long way off of I-70 and was a far drive from Baltimore. Be careful of the large pond on the right side of the green on number 10. It's not on the scorecard. I aimed to the right thinking it would be safe because I didn't have a shot at the green. My ball went into the unknown water hazard and ruined a good round. Some regulars said the hazzard surprized them too when they first played the course.

A decent track that tends to back up some even with its remote location. Overall the fairways and greens are in very good conditiion but the tee boxes are a bit beat up for early in the season.
A fun course none the less.
