Double Bogey

This is my home course and it still shows of the beating it took last year. The greens and fairways a spotty, especially on the front nine.

The new clubhouse means higher fees, food and drink. They reversed the 9's and now you start out on what used to be the 10th which means you have to walk 400 yards, around the 18th green, wait out in the sun. Can't practice putting while waiting to tee off nor buy a drink, use the bathroom, or shop in the store. Made these changes to force players by the clubhouse at the turn. It took 5 hours 20 minutes to play this past weekend which is a new record in my book. Bad decisions all to justify the new clubhouse.

Great course for the price. The greens are slow. Only medium speed if fresh cut and rolled. It has a couple of tough holes on the front nine if you work the ball from right to left. But the last four holes are scoring holes. Must play if in the area. Food and Staff are fantastic!

Conditions sometimes get away! Greens usually play very slow, and sometimes some bare areas, or ground under repair or even the occasional temporary green. But the layout is above average, some very nice holes (especially on the front-9). Cost is less than $25 with GPS cart. Nice par-5 18, reachable for long hitters who like to fade the ball. No. 17 is a fun, (possibly) driveable par-4. Par 3s play pretty long, average 190-210 yards.
