For a county muni, this is a hidden gem. Riding 18 holes for less than 50 bucks. he course, while not long from tips, only 6700-yards requires straight shots. Woods line most holes, but not so thick as you can't play out of them. Greens and bunkers were terrific. Faster greens but not unfair. Rough makes you pay a price, but not a steep one. The layout was terrific. Not a gimmick hole anywhere. Just a good, fun layout and it won't break your bank. Pace of play was excellent.

Played this Friday. Starter told me about new superintendent and the job he's done. He's done an excellent job. Great shape, best I've seen it.

Played here yesterday and the course is in decent shape. Some of the tee boxes were chewed up, but the fairways were fine, except the patch crossing No. 2 where they had to re-sod. Most greens were rolling very slow and inconsistent from hole-to-hole. Pace of play was good for a weekend afternoon. The driving range could use some TLC.

This is a great course to be a public used one, I enjoy playing here all the time!

Played May 12, course was in good condition. A few small areas of ground under repair. Speed of play usually OK. Always make a tee-time, they will often say they are wide open but when you show up, it's full. Still one of the best values in the area.

Back at this course again to kick off my 2007 Regional tour; yyeah right! Anyway, course was in pretty good shape for this time, as always tight and challenging. Indeed price is nice for the area and the clubhouse crew were friendly and helpful as always. Once Spring really kicks in, conditions will improve and this course will only get better. Worth playing if you haven't yet.

Course was in good shape, a little too much aeration at points but overall surprisingly good for March. Some of the chewed up, potholed sections of the cart path from previous years have been fixed. 16 is still a very tough hole. Earliest tee times have changed for 2007, now 7am weekends and holidays, 8am weekdays. Great value, far better than other area courses in this price range.

Nice course that features tight fairways and large size greens. Rolling fairways add to the challenge. The course has a good number of holes where you can't see the group in front of you from the tee and you have to wait for the bell to ring or a green light from the cleverly installed red/green light tee off system. I can see where play here could be a bit slow. I'd like to return in the spring or summer though to play this course again.

I think the course is very good for Prince George County. I play most of the local courses and it stands up well verse Marlton and Andrews courses. I can't wait to play there again.

I rate this course above average because of it's phenomenal value. It's awfully good for $27 (weekdays). The greens are a bit slow with lots of Poa in them, but it'll help teach you to strike your putts truly. Some challenging tee shots from the back tees. Fairways and bunkers are in surprisingly good shape. The rough is very spotty so keep the ball in the short stuff. Gets busy and slow on weekends but weekdays can be a joy. Just tooled round 18 today on my own in about 2 1/2 hours.

Very good course, especially for the money. Greens were a little bumpy, having just been aerated (played here 17 Aug 04). Challenging track. Back nine has some fairly narrow tee shots on relatively long holes. To get the best tee time, you need to buy a "gold card" from the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission. This gives you the ability to reserve tee times on-line as far as 10 days in advance.

For a public course it always amazed how well kept this place is. It gets a lot of play and is always in nice shape. A fair test for all skill levels . Pretty standard clubhouse. Snack bar. Nothing special in the pro shop. But a fun place to play .
