Course was in excellent shape for Clifton Park. Fairways were fairly plush and greens were true, if not a little slow. They actually held irons from the fairway and were slick when chipping from the rough, the way a course should be. Only paid $21 with Tee Time pass, pace was decent; 4:15 for a foursome. The course is in the heart of the city.

Disappointed to see GPS no longer on carts, You can rent a personal GPS system for an additional cost. The course was in better condition than usual. Rough was actually fairly rough and no bare spots in fairways tees or greens. Greens fees now $29, which is creeping towards county prices. Pace was OK for a Sunday morning.

This course was horrible. I wouldn't recommend this course to anyone, it's in the middle of the ghetto, absolutely awful.

OK, it's in a suspect neighborhood in the city. OK, it's only 6,000 yards. OK, weekend mornings can back up a little bit. Solutions, once you tee off No. 1, who cares where it is. Play the blues to lengthen it a little for your group. Play weekday or after 12 p.m. For $23, you can't go wrong here. Conditions are better than satisfactory, carts are GPS equipped, scoring should be low. It's an average course at an extremely below average price.

Clifton parks location tends to keep golfers from playing the course. If it was located in the county, it would be one of the most played courses around. People rave about Rocky Pointe golf course and how great it is. Clifton may not be as long as the pointe but , it is always in better condition. As far as the price to play factor goes there is no conparison. For just $20 weekday / $22 weekend cart with GPS included , this is the best deal in town.
