Play the course often and it's always in good shape. The course offers a good balance of test of game and ability to score. A bit better priced than a couple of expensive courses in the area.

Nice layout, but greens were sandy and very slow. Great service and worth playing if in the area.

Older course with open fairways that's fun, fair and has challenging greens. The front nine has 3 par 5s and 3 par 3s. The greens are fast and were in perfect condition this past weekend. If your in the area or want to enjoy a laid back weekend not to fair from DC or Baltimore, then it's a nice option.

Played CV and it was in great shape. Greens were very nice shape, not too fast but fair. Its a great layout, lot of shots to make use of. Price was right, too.

Played Saturday and the course was in good shape. Greens and fairways were all intact and not burnt out. Greens rolled fairly true, not too fast and not too slow. Except for a few chewed up tee boxes, conditions were great. Layout was kinda short and easy, most holes were very straight forward with few blind shots or forced carries. You'd think there would be more elevation change being in the mountains, but nothing drastic. Service was good throughout my stay. No driving range however.

Worth the drive from DC. It's only about 30 minutes more of a drive than most decent courses in the DC area. The staff was friendly, the pace was very good, and the price was perfect. Good course if you want to get away from the 6-hour pace DC area courses.

It's a decent course with average conditions, and below average design. We were there on a perfect day and the course was pretty empty.
