Best value on the dollar of any course in the area. I payed $37 (full rate with cart) and was amazed at the conditions this course offered. Accurate players will kill the long ball hitter. Very friendly staff and a truly FUN day of golf (even with 3 double bogeys). Some of the best greens, although small, that I've found on a public track. I'll be back many times.

Way too expensive! I have played there 3 times now. No bang for the buck. For just a few more dollars you can play a nationally rated or 5 star course in Fredericksburg. It just appears they try to run as many people through the course, on a given day, and put no money back into the course.

I am originally from Florida and played some of the nicest courses in the country. This course well over priced. However, they have some of the nicest clubhouse staff I have ever encountered. The course is short from the white tees but very tight. The greens were a little rough the last time I played there but, overall, I enjoyed my time! With a little investment and course upgrades, this could be the gem of the Northern Neck. I understand the 18 hole golf league is well run and very fun.

Long hitters can keep the driver in the bag. Course is narrow with woods. Limited bunkers and water. When the course is dry, the greens are fast and fairways roll. Very nice. When the course is wet even after a light rain, you are playing in soup. Overall, I have enjoyed my play there with a courteous staff. However, they get rude when they come for the carts at dark. Pricey for an average course but fun.

Played here today and nicest things about the course were the staff and the greens. The fairways had 3 different types of grass in them and a good number of dead spots, so it was a bit disappointing; a far cry from last years review. It is a wooded course with little wiggle room outside the fairway and overall, a mediocre course that really isn't worth making a special trip to.

I play this course very often, for the past two years the greens and fairways have been the best in the area, even with the drought we experienced this year. They have been kept top notch. The fairways are narrow and wood lined, if you hit in the woods you may or may not find your ball. There are not allot of bunkers, but with the rolling hills and narrow fairways, straight is premium. You can walk this course if you want, but you will feel it when you finish. The staff is very friendly.

You cannot beat the twilight rates at Cameron Hills! $30 for 18 holes including cart. The course winds through a beautiful country layout. There is not a house on the course. The fairways and greens are in great shape. The rough is getting a little brown from lack of rain and the cart paths are dirt so its very dusty. Pro shop staff is extremely friendly and are more than happy to give you a cooler with ice for the ice cold beer you need on a hot muggy day.

Played early in the year and our group had a good time. Greens were a bit rough, but not unexpected given the time of year. It's off the beaten path and not easy to find if you're not paying attention. It has some real nice holes and we nearly had the place to ourselves on a beautiful March day. Good value, nice staff. We'll be back in the future.

This place is good because of the nice pace of play. I've never been there and had an overly long round. The course is usually in decent shape and is a good value. Nothing special about this place, but there's nothing really bad about it either.

Friendly staff in the club house. Fairways offer undulating lies and blind tees shots for risk/reward players. Excellent tip sheet (available) for first timers for ball placement on each hole. I followed all the tips w/my 'B' game, and was able to salvage a nice round on a windy day. Misses in the wrong spots could add strokes. Overall, the course is nicely maintained with good putting surfaces for winter. Thumbs up in my yardage book!

Nice track, needs work if they're gonna keep it open during the winter season (ie: winter rye on the fairways). The greens are in pretty good shape, and the layout is nice (several blind shots, and demanding tee shots).
