First time playing the course, so we hired a caddy and were glad we did. Put simply, Bulle Rock is a great track, challenging but fair. Just stay out of trouble! It's not the prettiest I've played and the course conditions were less than perfect due to recent weather. But it's as good as it gets in Maryland as far as I'm concerned. Helpful staff, wonderful practice facility, great layout. I can't wait to go back. Pace of play: 3 hours, 40 minutes walking on a beautiful Thursday morning.

Simply the nicest course I have played, which includes PGA West. It is a great layout with exceptional risk reward holes. Not for the faint of heart. Staff is exceptional. If you go, and you need to, hire a caddy, WOW, what a difference it makes.

I have to give Bulle Rock an eagle though I do judge it on a higher scale. Bulle is the epitome of the upscale course -great service, layout, and conditioning with all the usual amenities. But I have to caution that the $145 fee set's an expectation level that's hard to meet out on the course. Every imperfection gets noticed. The greens are slick & the layout is difficult, especially from the blue and black tees.

Among the best courses I've played, even with what I feel is an unfairly routed 5th hole (long/uphill requiring a long snap hook tee shot to even have a chance to reach in regulation). Well worth the green fees. Service outstanding, even have a practice 60 yard chipping area and bunkers! Conditions A+ as usual. Green fees a bit steep, recommend the Frequent Player deal, buy 2 rounds get one free on their website! At $96/round with that, this course absolutely cannot be beat!

The best daily fee course in the region. If there is one course in the area that is a value even at a three figure greens fee, this is it.

Very few things in this life live up to what they are billed, this course does. Play it at least once.

Yes, it's expensive. Yes, it's tough. Yes, those greens are brutal. And yes, it's worth it. Don't bother if your handicap is above 25 -- you'll be in for nothing but frustration. No two holes are alike, the rough will *kill* you if you land in it, and putting is an adventure. The staff absolutely falls over themselves to take care of you - the starters, the pro shop, the caddies (I *highly* recommend getting one), and the staff in the restaurant are top-notch.

One of the most beautiful courses you'll ever play. Greens are perfect (and fast). Course is in tremendous condition for having just had a major tournament played there (LPGA). Must hit in fairway - the rough is very difficult to hit out of. I finally realized I just needed to punch it back out to fairway rather than attempt to hit a normal shot out. Rough is brutal.

Staff is the best you will find anywhere. Yes, course is expensive, but you'll be treated and pampered like nowhere else.

Went up and played Bulle Rock for the first time last Friday, with the course still in great shape, from the LPGA tournament the week before. Very pricey but I believe if you are looking for a golf expierence and not just a round of golf this is the place to go. Customer service was outstanding!!! Conditions on the tee boxes great - Greens rolling 11.5 and true as can be. Layout - has so many Wow holes it is hard to pick one, but 18 is a truly great hole -- Stay right out of the water. One thing that I had not expierenced before was the high rough that came with that tournament -- Hopefully they will start cutting down, because if you go there you may as well play to boogie and not par, because it's like a penalty stroke. Bottom line treat yourself if you can afford it is worth the $$$

It's a great course well kept. If you have the extra money to go play it a great challenge.

Excellent condition, challanging layout, a bit high in price but well worth it. Layout is so good, when your playing it seems as though your the only golfer on the course. At the price it would be nice to see GPS on the carts.

Simply the finest public course in the mid-atlantic and one of the best in the country. Long, difficult, but fair, it is a great one day country club experience. The course, the staff- its all terrific. Although the price is steep at $145, you walk away feeling you got value for the money.
