Blue Mash is in fantastic shape right now. Played this course for the 1st time in 4 years on Thursday. Love the new split fairway on 1. Wind was howling this day and it made the last 4 holes absolutely brutal. Good, tough course. Only draw back was the mowers that need to get out earlier and set the sticks and mow the greens.

Played here last week and the course was in excellent shape. From tee to green the conditions were the best I've seen in any course this year. It's a good challenging layout yet not my favorite. The new split fairway on the first hole is a nice new option and give the hole a friendlier start to the round. The practice facilities are first class. The clubhouse although modest in appearance the service is good. One plus they have some really hot cart chicks and females working the bar and grill.

Played this course last weekend and I really enjoyed it. I like the new fairway on hole 1, hope they grow the rough high on the first hole so it becomes more of a risk reward to drive down the new fairway. The greens are in perfect condition and I was able to finish my round even though I starting at 4:00 pm.

For a course that's as daunting as The Blue Mash, I found that still having aeration holes at this time of year to be strange. Many courses are beyond this process and the greens are putting true. I would say, in a month this course could be well worth the 89. Why are they just installing the second fairway on hole No 1, DUH! It will be a putting nightmare for some and a dream for others when the holes heal.

We had extremely slow pace of play for at Blue Mash this past Friday morning. It took us 5 hours on a weekday morning. Greens and approach areas had recently been aerated without being mentioned by staff. The course is an average design for upscale with a weak flow of holes; a bunch of long holes followed by a bunch of short holes.

Played this weekend in awful heat and found an excellent first outing to Blue Mash. Don't know usual pace of play as it was so hot no one was on any course but us fools. I love the layout. Lots of heavy hitter long holes and some thinking holes as well. Many bunkers and tiered greens protect what looks easier than it really is! Slight complaint was greens had many unrepaired ball marks. Maintenance needs to get out nightly and fix what lazy golfers did not. Otherwise superb!

The course has variety and is a challenge for all golfers. The seventeenth hole, a par three, is very challenging. If you par this hole, feel good about yourself.

Greens are just about recovered from recent aeration and are very very slick. Overall, course is in great shape - fairways, rough, etc. A few tee boxes look a tad shabby, and actually they seem to be losing a bit of their perfectly flat and square shape too. Other than that, Blue Mash is a great golf experience and it is always a pleasure to play a newer course not built through a housing development!

Played yesterday and the course is in great shape. I played early morning after some overnight rain and the greens were still pretty quick. The bunkers were also in good shape with plenty of sand in them.

Great layout, great management, and conditions are always above par. The course has an exceptional practice area.

Meet my buddy here for a round on Sunday and the course was in excellent condition. Even though the fairways are open on most holes the greens are very slick. The key to posting a good number at Blue Mash is to survive the first thee holes which are long and tough. Some reachable Par 4s and a couple of short Par 4s through in a few birdie opportunities but the key is putting at Blue Mash. One of the most fairly priced high ends around as well. Great course; play it a couple of times a year including today. The conditions were as expected considering it's early spring. Greens had been aerated and sanded recently but the greens rolled smooth at a medium to quick pace. Bunkers were decent but a bit thin and the rough was a bit spotty in places. The design is top notch with three of the toughest opening holes anywhere. Customer service was good with a friendly starter.

Played 9/9, Sat AM. Course in decent shape, although the greens were recently aerated. Although a little bumpy to putt on, wasn't bad. Still a very good layout, although the first few holes are so tight, many people end up playing from another fairway which slows down play, especially with cart path only; they should allow walkers in this case.

Course was in great shape yesterday from tee to green. The course has one of the nicer ranges and full practice area if you need to work on your game. The clubhouse and bar/grill area are pretty plan for a semi expensive course but the actual course makes up for it. The first three holes are killers. Very long and a tough challange with no real warmup holes. The rough was medium thick so getting any spin can make for some roll out once the ball gets to the greens. A couple of bunkers might have been a bit thin but seemed to be more damp than thin.

I was a little nervous when I first got to the course because there are a lot of power lines near the club house. But the course does a great job of taking them out of view. Everything was in great shape. The only thing that I didn't like was there weren't any maps of the holes on any of the tees and they currently don't offer a yardage book. I was lucky to play with a buddy that was very familiar with the course and could show me around. Looking forward to playing here again.

The basic idea is: don't blow up on the first 5 holes. If you can get through those unscathed, you can have a good round. The fairways, greens, and tee boxes are in really great shape, especially when you compare them to some of the other courses in the area who have just been torn up this summer. If you can, take advantage of the super twilight - $26 to walk after 5:00pm (which may move up to 4:30 soon - give them a call).

Weird first hole but after that just flat good golf. Tough par fours are the heart of any course and this one has them in bunches. Well maintained fun course to play.

Course is in beautiful condition. Front nine is tougher due to difficult greens and surrounding areas that leave virtually no room for error (no bailout areas, etc.). Miss the green here and the chance for an up-and-down is slim. Even a good approach shot can end up in a baaaad place. Back nine is flatter and fairer with areas to run the ball up to the green if desired. Grass driving range is nice but needs more target flags at varying distances. Pricey.

After weeks of bitter cold it was nice to get out to a course that was actually open. One of the better layouts around but at 66 dollars a bit steep for winter rates. Course was in decent condition considering, a bit sloppy, hard bunkers. Fairways were in good shape and one hole was closed due to some ice/snow still on the green, I think the 15th.. But you could play as much as possible all day long for the 66 dollars so not to bad.

On a 65 degree New Years Day, it was nice to get out and golf. Blue Mash is one of my favorite courses but everytime I play it I have a terrible time reading the greens, some very tricky slope. The course was in really good condition and the winter time conditions of thinner rough and cut down high grass made the course play a bit easier than summer time conditions.

An excellent course in excellent condition. The staff was very nice and a pint of Guiness in the clubhouse after the round did'nt hurt either. This course is well worth playing.

BIG SUPRISE: It is a fantastic place to play. Fairways and Greens are in great condition, and pace of play is above average. Driving range is grass, but could be a lot better. Its long, and a very fair course. The course design and layout is okay, nothing special, but definately worth playing.

Played the course this past Sunday. Great condition and shape. But it was one of the slowest rounds I have every played. It took close to 6 hours to complete our round. It was a busy Sunday but the Marshall did nothing to mind pace.Other than that it was a nice day. Greens are in excellent shape and the course design is one of the best in the area.
