Played here Vet's day. It's a crime this course is closing next month. Great collection of par 4s and 5s although the par threes are a bit milk toast. Course is in beautiful shape and the greens are great. Hate to see it go.

Played this course today and I would echo Swami's comments that were last made. Today though was a dry day and greens rolled very fast. Lots of 3 putts and there were some brown spots on fairways but nothing to be overly concerned about. Clubhouse staff mentioned that this course is actually closing on Dec. 7th of this year, so if you haven't had the chance to experience Beechtree, I suggest you add it to your list for the fall season.

Finally made it out to this course for a round. Very difficult to go here when in area instead of Bulle Rock, but this course definitely measures up! Layout is excellent. Lots of risk-reward holes and thinking shots. Quite soggy from recent rains when we played it so I can't say how the greens normally are but they were slow today. Conditions were excellent, nothing but green as far as the eye could see. This course is well worth a look-see in comparison to Bulle Rock!

Played a morning round on Sunday after hearing great things about the course and it delivers. The conditions were excellent and the greens were fast and true. High handicappers will appreciate the wide fairways. At the same time, lower handicappers are given risk-reward opportunities. Premium is placed on approach shots as course management is important to set up shots to flag sticks tucked behind bunkers. Replayed the course with 2 others at 1pm and finished in 3 hours, hardly anyone was there!

Played the course in mid-November and the conditions were excellent. Our group thought it was a steal for the $65 end of season rate. The staff was very welcoming and helpful and the food was great too.

Although the course is in good shape, the service is extremely poor. The attitude of the staff in the pro shop is arrogant. I was able to use the Tee Time Golf Pass in the past and receive a discount on their winter rates, but without notice, their policy changed where they attempted to charge me full price. No apologies or explanations were given. You can get more for your money at neighboring courses of similar caliber.

The second best daily fee course in the region behind neighbor Bulle Rock. Tom Doak is currently one of the best golf architects in the business and, based on his recent projects, may be considered one of the ten best in his field. This is a great early example of his work, which emphasizes minimalist features that utilize natural contours in the land.

This is one of the more "golfer friendly" courses I have ever played. The initial impression is great, large comfortable clubhouse, very friendly staff, and very well maintained practice tee, chipping green and large putting area. There is a tremendous amount of beautiful rolling countryside around the course. The tees and greens were immaculate and the fairways were wide and welcoming. We teed off exactly on time and enjoyed a brisk 4 hr 15 min round for a foursome! What a great time!

Played a couple days after tropical storm Ernesto came through. Conditions were somewhat wet but definitely better than expected. The course drained well. Tee boxes showed a little wear, probably just from being late in the season, but the fairways and greens were excellent! A great layout in great condition, what more can you ask for? The staff was friendly and helpful. Pace was slow due to being filled to capacity on a holiday. All in all, a little pricey but well worth it.

Best Course in the Mid-Atlantic! The golf course is phenomenal and always in excellent shape. The staff is outstanding; always courteous and eager to help. The clubhouse is great as well, and the food is A-1 as well. I highly reccommend this course to anyone who wants to play a great course at a reasonable price.

The course is in fabulous shape. Exceedingly friendly and helpful staff. A challenging course with thick rough and interesting holes. Firm greens with undualtion make this course very fun to play. I had a great day.

Over rated! NO visuals at tees of what the hole is like. Very disturbing. I was paired with a slow golfer. Marshall correctly told our group to pick up the pace and we did. HOWEVER, the marshall literally followed us for 4 holes making us rush and the poor player play poorer! Totally rude marshall and ruined my round. Many better courses in DC area, such as Westfields, Old Hickory, Musket Ridge, etc.

Well maintained, tough layout. Price is a bit high for the local area, but its woth it and it keeps the hackers away.
