I was expecting small greens and tight fairways, but found the course extremely fair. Lot's of pines just off the fairway certainly could cause problems for the errant shot. The front nine goes back and forth a good bit with minor doglegs from 4-7. The two par 3s are somewhat scenic. I enjoyed the back nine more with a short but challenging uphill all the way Par 5 11th. The back nine is a little more scenic with some rolling hills. Hole 16 is a 219-yard par 3 and 17 offers a narrow fairway; both are challenging holes. 18 is an extreme left-turning dogleg. I lost my coupon but staff honored it anyway. Not the most expensive course in relation to courses in Frederick, but still on the high side in my opinion

Played this course for the first time on Friday. It is a located few miles away from Hagerstown, neatly nestled away near some mountains. The fall colors around this course were amazing. The fairways were lush and the greens were great. The majority of the trees were pines which made finding my ball much easier because of the lack of leaves. The course plays tougher than the slope/slope indicate. Very walker friendly with each green next to the next tee box. Can't wait to play again!
