First, I had heard good things regarding this course and recently decided to vary my usual drive to the Baltimore area courses. My friends were correct and I enjoyed my round. We came out as a 2some on the weekend and check-in plus proshop staff were pleasant. We played with another twosome that are regulars and they mentioned they offered breakfast Mon thru Fri. The course was in good shape. Fairways and Greens very good but the tee boxes could use some work. I would suggest you give Bay Hills a try.

Was near Annapolis and tried this secluded little course. Narrow and tree-lined, but very short. Numerous water carries. Conditions are spotty, particularly tees and rough; probably too shady. Zoysia fairways were OK, greens are medium speed, but with interesting slopes. For the price, a good deal and I liked the breakfast buffet. Conditioning lowers the rating. Also, no range. The final quirk? Only one Par 5, and only three Par 3's. I'd rather play 10 Par 4's than 14.

You will not be disappointed. I recently played Bay Hills and the course is in the best shape that I have seen in years. The price is very reasonable during the week and I will continue to play here over the other courses in the area. If you have not played Bay Hills, give it a try.

This course was surprising from all the comments I have heard. The course was in great shape for the drought. The rough needs some work but the tees, fairway's and greens were in great shape. They give free food with your round during the week. The food was good and the service was above average everyone was there to help you out. I will play there again!

I found the pace of play was decent but it is understandable with the reasonable price that they charge, expect about 4 half hrs for a round. The greens were in great shape, fairways okay, the rough needs some work but it helped on my tee shots. I plan on playing there again. The cost, good course and free food make it a great deal.

The green conditions were good and the course layout is very good Greens fees are reasonable. However pace was 5 hours 30 minutes. I agree with the last comment, it was unbearable.

Pace of play was unbearable, 5:45 round. Course was not in very good shape, and the layout was OK, but I felt they could have taken better advantage of the surrounding terrain. Cost was reasonable, but then again, I wouldn't pay to play there again.

Course has improved over the past five years. Greens are better than excepted where they are being reseeded, Fairways are improving with a nice cover of grass. Course is great for average golfer because of easy access to most greens and distance from white tees. Free lunch makes the price unbeatable. More active marshals would help to speed up play.

This course was a lot of fun. Some people complain about it being too tight, but it really isn't. Very unique design. The fairways were imacualte! My only problem is that half the greens were nice and half weren't.. Part of the problem was due to airating. But some of them are complete dirt. On one approach I landed it in the middle of the green and a puff of dust went up just like I had hit in the bunker. I'll come back but I can't wait to see the course in tip top shape.

This course can be very challenging (2 holes are constantly rated amongst the 10 toughest holes in the area). The course is well maintained and the greens are not too fast.

Nice surroundings and an ordinary, but easily accessible course from Ritchie Highway. Good place to play 9 holes late Sunday afternoon. Not much excitement, a little water and few challenges..easy playing.

SWEET! I've played a round here myself last year (2003), and also played there in a tournament. The staff is very professional, and so is the course, (demanding on tee shots). The "hills" in the name holds true on most all of the course. The greens are medium to fast, and the fairways are perfect early summer thru early fall. This is one of my favorites in the Annapolis area.
