An old Charles Banks design that is more fun to play than any other course in the metro area. Incredibly deep bunkers, two short but interesting par 5's, a redan and maybe an eden? par 3. Get out and play this course before its swallowed up by development. One caveat, its generally not very green, if you like that over watered look and basically only nine holes; alternate tees for back nine.

For those who prize course conditioning and like to be pampered, this would be a terrible spot to play. If, however, you like old designs, good strategy, toting your own bag, this is a diamond in the rough. Designed in 1928 by Charles Banks (an associate of Seth Raynor), this golf course has remarkable bunkering (10 feet high greenside bunkers and wonderfully placed fairway bunkers), wide fairways which provide several avenues of attack, reachable par 5s, and beguiling par 3s.

I think it is the worst course I've ever played. You could not pay me to go there again. I had to search for a blade of crabgrass to put my ball on after my tee shot. The greens were ok. The rest was really bad.

This is a great course for beginners like me. The biggest plus is affordability. The fairways are less than average, but this is a fun course with plenty of challenges. It is an old style course with very deep bunkers on either side of most greens.

Very friendly atmosphere. It is a nice local course. The greens are very challenging and elevated.
