The greens were slow and soft and they're doing their best to keep the course green with the dry weather. From tee to green this course is in pretty good shape. The rough is dead brown and the ground is hard, easy to get out of. Strange to go from fast fairway to slow green but I'll take it, putts must be hit firm. I think the course is a little over priced. $30 to walk 18, $20 twilight

The course was very trying and the flags were all placed really tough. Some of the fairways were obstructed from view because of overhanging trees that probably needed to be trimmed. Overall it was a pleasant round of golf.

The West course at Andrews is in great early summer shape. The amount of rain has everything thick and green. The West is the easiest course of the 3, not very long, and no tricky holes to screw up a good round. They added a par 5 to the front 9, making the third hole a pretty short par 5. Most holes are some what tight, but the length won't kill ya. I can hit a 3 wood on most holes, greens are pretty big and medium speed. Pace is pretty good, call ahead because the base has lots of tourney's.

Played the Andrews West course for the first time. It’s a par 70 but easily could be a par 72. Hole 8 was 475-yard par 4 with a 220-yard forced carry to reach the fairway. There were more 400-yard plus par 4s and 190-yard plus par 3 compared to other courses in the area. The course carries a 120 slope rating from the tips which seems low for such a lengthy course. Fairways and greens were in good shape however don’t read too much break on the greens! All three courses at Andrews were enjoyable to play. Check them out if you can.

This course puts a premium on ball placement. The course from the white tee box is pretty average as no whole is over 400 yds, but if you need a challege step back to the blue tee box where on the 8th whole there is a 474yd par 4 that has a narrowing fairway waiting for your miss played tee shot. If you are an average ball striker this course will not cause you too many problems, However if you have a lose shot every now and then you may never find your ball.
