The best Andrew's course isn't in the best shape. The fairways are spotty and the tee boxes are over grown. The course has a great layout and a good pace of play, it just hasn't been well maintained this spring. The greens will be coming in nicely like all of the Andrew's courses in mid-April. I hope the course green's keeper get things back on track and when they do I will post another review.

This is quite a layout for an on-base course. Many holes were links style with a few classic parkland style holes as well. Played in a tournament on a wet and rainy day and while the drainage was not the greatest, it got the job done. Greens were rolling true and maintenance of the bunkers, tees, rough, fairways were all good. Would love to play again.

We walked on to Andrews on Sat morning, got there at 8:30 and had to get on a waiting list. Teed off around 10:15. Course is in good condition, not bad for a Military course. Greens were descent but slow compared to others we play in the area. Tee boxes were good. Only complaint I had was the lack of water jugs along the course. Stock up on water after hole 4 because you won’t see any until you pass the snack bar again after hole 12. Back 9 plays longer if the wind is blowing.

If you have access, this could be the best value in the region. The course features a great par 3 over water and creative mounding, which is virtually unheard of for military courses. Throw out your preconceived notions about sub-par military golf when playing this gem.

Played 9/16 AM shotgun start. Excellently designed links course with some very tricky and scenic holes. Greens run pretty quick. A few blind shots and forced carries, so choose the correct tees. Bunkers are all strategically placed, so it puts a premium on shot placement. Pace was a little slow, but no Marshall patrolling. Excellent practice facilities with natural grass tees. As a civilian, it was a treat to play this course.

For a military retiree like me all the courses at Andrews are a dream come true. They are allways in good shape. The south course is a bit more challanging with more water and doglegs. You can't beat the price as well considering what other courses in our area charges. If you have a friend who can get on base and take you or if your a military member check out Andrews for some good golf at a great price.

Great course when compared to most military courses. Every aspect of the course was in good shape and the varitey of holes is a great mix. Even though the greens test they will hold and run at a medium pace. My favoirte two holse are 3 and 4, both shots over water with scenic views. If you can get on the base its a nice course at a very good price.

The South Course at Andrews is very challenging. You may want to bring a few extra balls for this course, because there are trees and hazards that make you think a little on most shots. I would like to play again to see how I would improve. I am an average player, so I think it would be a tad more challenging for a beginner.

This course is a mixture of a traditional tree lined course that opens up to a linx style course. The well placed white sands of this course cause as much of a problem as the water hazards. This course has blind tee shots, and a couple of risk reward holes. You may want to bring a few extra balls for this course, because just like the other courses at Andrews it's not a long course, but there are very penal hazards around every corner.
