Took advantage of great Groupon deal that featured bottomless drink and an enormous bucket of balls. The golf? Great if you like 6 hour rounds. This course has positioned itself as the alcoholics paradise, with a full bar between 4th and 8th tees and frequent cart girl service. That might explain the slow pace...as others have noted, the course is tight and quirky, with too much land devoted to the practice area vs. the holes. A reasonable, short, tight test that's fairly enjoyable.

The course was in very good condition, but the pace of play was extremely poor. The starter even admitted that it's usually "brutal" on weekends. That aside, you've got noise from planes and Waxpool Rd traffic and a course routing - dictated by the many water hazards - that includes too many short but tight par-4s and a lengthy walk or ride between most greens and the next tee, sometimes taking you past a hole you've already played.

Course would rate a par, except for price. The layout is odd, with short, cramped holes, with long walks or cart rides between holes. Conditions were very good, both greens and fairways. Good practice area, except that you have to hit off of mats. $95 then another $10 for range balls. Was a very steep price for what you get. It's a good course, that seems to be pretending that it's more than it really is. Weekend fees should be about $60. I won't be back.

Absolutely nothing special about this course. Lots of holes bordering noisy traffic and extremely compact. I feel as if I was tent getting stuffed in a sack...crunched. Beautiful practice area, but you have to be a member to use it. Joe public cannot touch it, even when the practice green is out of commission. Very disappointed with the layout and the service.

Shot maker's delight. Tight driving makes it visually intimidating, but the approaches make it hard. Pins tucked in corners/behind traps on every hole. Don't be fooled by yardage. Black tees have 5 par 4s over 400 yards. Fly or die on par 3s. Only one reachable par 5. The sloping and undulating greens make two putting a chore. Conditions in mid-Aug were quite good. Tees and fairways lush. Greens aerated, though. Pro staff very pleasant and professional. Great food. Fantastic range.

Too difficult. First hole is among the most difficult..a no-no in my book. 18 is a par 3, just another no-no. Many unfair holes, particularly on the front. The first hole, with a narrow fairway and forced carry is so tough the pace seemed backed up from the get go. All but 3 holes have water in play and the sloping is such that if you miss, you are wet more often than not. I played with a 70s shooter who was equally frustrated. Nice conditions, but it will beat you up and take your balls.

1757 is a nice course, but a little gimmicky. It is an 18 hole course built in an area with room enough for 10 or 11 holes, so some of the holes are short and the back 9 includes holes in the line of fire from other holes tee boxes. The pace was a little slow as well, playing over 5 hours. The good news is that the course was in great condition. Greens and fairways were in excellent shape and the range is wonderful. However, I don't see myself paying $95 for another round at this venue.

It's an eagle course in terms of conditions and amenities. But with the full 18 now open it's a bit over priced in my mind; $95 during prime time weekend. The course is challenging and will keep you entertained. Great range and the service is good.

All the holes were pretty nice except for the one dogleg right hole that was literally and L. I hit a driver to the bend and would have had the same length shot to the green as if I hit a 4 iron. This hole makes no sense what so ever, and thought it was a worthless hole. Getting on the course was somewhat unorganized maybe because of people making the turn for another 10.

OK, I know its only 10 holes, but WOW! The facility course and staff are all first rate. The design is good and tough with all the water in play. Course might be a 10 once they get everything going with the other holes open and bar and grill in place.

Positive; straightforward layout, no trick or gimmick holes, very good conditioning, reasonable price, courteous, efficient staff. Negative; no lounge or beer yet, practice area is mats no grass but nice. The course was very wet and cart path only on my two visits. We had very slow play 5.5 hrs for 19 holes and I skipped 1 hole to drive around a slow group. Overall; very playable course, future looks good when all 18 holes open, unless they jack the price up. Give it a try!

Excellent golf facility and experience. For just opening the 10 holes open for play were in excellent shape. Great mix of long and short holes and lots of water all over the course. When all 18 are open next year it should be a special place. The range is the best I've ever seen. Worth a visit just to hit a bucket of balls.

The course opened just after memorial day and is a great addition to the area. This private course gone under has been reborn and is now open to the public. I hope management keeps the price reasonable. It has all the qualities of a really high daily fee place. Currently they only have 10 holes open but you can play them all twice for the 18 price of $65. Staff members said they will have the remaining holes open next year. Solid tree lined course with great greens.
